FIFA 22: Division Rivals will be changed a lot

FUT – Season 4 is here, and EA Sports has announced some major changes for Division Rivals. What will change for players of the mode?

Division Rivals has been quite controversial in 22 so far. Yes, it’s a cool idea, but many players have complained that it’s just too much effort for rewards that ultimately aren’t worth it. And that’s why most FUT players also play Division Rivals regularly… because of the rewards.

Now that FUT – Season 4 is coming, EA Sports has decided to change a few things . One of those things is how you get those tasty rewards . And in a shocking twist that no one saw coming: a lot of people are still pissed.

FIFA 22: Division Rivals will be heavily changed in – Season 4

EA announced that starting February 3rd there will be major changes to Division Rivals. This affects the number of games required, how ranks work, and the type of rewards you can get.

The biggest change is probably the elimination of ranks in Division Rivals. This means that when you move up a division, you get the same rewards as everyone else in that division. It doesn’t matter if you’re at the top or at the bottom. Also, intermediate ranks are converted into checkpoints to ensure you don’t fall from the top of your division too quickly. Sounds good, right? Wait a minute…

EA also announced that there will be additional stages in Divisions 1-4 to reach some of the game’s higher ranks, making the grind even longer. Also, from now on, players will need ” at least 4 or 8 wins to receive the weekly reward and reward upgrades.” That’s an increase of one win from the previous 3 or 7. The rewards are also scheduled to be adjusted and potentially have a higher value, but EA hasn’t given us full details on that yet.

This decision was immediately met with controversy, with people still complaining about the unrelenting grind in Division Rivals. A Twitter user called it a “terrible decision,” adding:

You can’t expect us to play 20 Fut Champions matches, 10 qualifier matches and at least 8 Rivals matches in a week to get maximum rewards, and that’s not even counting the objectives… way too much. ..

This opinion is also expressed on the FIFA subreddit, where a user made this comment:

That’s crap. 7 games was more than enough

As you can see, EA is back to bugging everyone. Let’s wait and see if these changes to Division Rivals are actually “crap” or maybe better than expected. In the meantime, we’ll comfort ourselves with Future Stars and some cool SBCs .

FIFA 22 – FUTs

What could be cooler than just relaxed gaming and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles. With the Ultimate Team cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. However, the FUT keep creeping into my mind, so here are the best Ultimate Team Event cards that are definitely worth adding to your collection.

Heroes cards selected by EA for top qualities

Admittedly, the FUT heroes will cost quite a bit of coin, but it turns out that EA has once again brought some top-class players into the game when it comes to selection. As a collector and hunter, it’s an added attraction for FIFA gamers to now include their own favorite heroes in the portfolio and benefit from their individual skills. Both in the game and in team building, the FUTs will revolutionize the game once again.

EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME

Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. A lot of playing was rewarded, points could be collected and items, boosts or balls for the individual game modes could be unlocked.

In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game. There is a heated discussion in the FIFA community about whether the game, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, will be free-to-play. This option is said to be on the table for the game makers from EA, because: It seems that EA earns most of its money with the purchases of FIFA Points in the game mode Ultimate Team and not with the sale of the game itself.
