Moments Icon cards show Legends at the most significant moments in their careers, so they’re always OP in Ultimate Team. Now each of the strongest icon versions in FIFA 22!
Ah yes, the legends of football… and I’m not even talking about Ronaldo or Messi . In FIFA they are also well known as icons. They’re nice and white, link to any player, and are extremely fun. Three icon versions are already out in FIFA 22: Base, Mid and Prime.
So now a fourth joins them, the ultimate and strongest form of legends: Icon Moments! Because, as we all know, all good things come in… four.
FIFA Ultimate Team – Was sind Moments Icons?
Should I repeat myself again? The ultimate and strongest form of icons ! Pelé for example, his previous versions are rated 91/95/98… that’s okay of course LoL, but his Icon Moments card even got a 99 . I probably don’t have to explain to anyone that this is of course super crass.
Incidentally, each of the 105 icons in FIFA 22 will have a strong Moments version – of course we’re particularly looking forward to newcomers like Rooney or Casillas !
When will Moments Icons come in FIFA 22?
On Friday March 4th, three Moments variants of Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Ferenc Puskas officially arrived . A day later, the first large selection of Icon Moments came to Ultimate Team. Finally, on March 12th, the rest of the Prime Icon Moments came to FUT – one day after the second team of the FUT Birthday Event !
In FIFA it has been customary for a number of years for the icons to be released in Ultimate Team in a staggered manner. In the beginning only Base and Mid are available , eventually the Prime variants appear and now the Moments can be found in FIFA 22. The first were already waiting in Icon Swaps 2 as rewards .
Prime Icon Moments Team 2 – Release March 12, 2022
There they are, the remaining 52 Icon Moments not previously released in FIFA 22. It all happened in quick succession, there were years when EA Sports took a little more time between the individual releases. Well, at least they posted another cool overview on Twitter :
We probably don’t have to say, but… what. for. horny. Cards! Maradona, Ronaldinho, Cruyff, Gullit and Co. are not only extremely strong, but also priceless for the mere mortal FIFA gamer. Even with trading tips and the weak transfer market in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team , it is difficult to get hold of the legends.
Prime Icon Moments Team 1 – Release March 05, 2022
EA Sports released a total of 53 icons at once on March 5th. So it looks strongly like Icon Moments will be brought into the game twice in FIFA 22. It is not yet known when the remaining 52 icons will appear in Ultimate. EA has created a nice overview on Twitter of which icons are already available:
Boy, some Icon Moments make our mouths water. Pele ’99, Zidane ’97, Eusébio ’94 … the cards are going to dominate the FIFA 22 meta – if you can reasonably afford them.

But that’s not all. If you look at the FIFA clock, the year is actually almost over – seriously, everyone is already in the mood for FIFA 23 , right ?
Anyway, back on topic. You can see all the ratings in the pictures above… but that’s not all in this FIFA year! The Moments Icons can also get an upgrade of their weak feet in FIFA 22!

With the Ultimate Team Event cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME
Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game.
