FIFA 22: All game modes at a glance

22 will be in stores from October 1, 2021 and will come with different game modes again this year. We show you an overview of every mode you can find in FIFA.

From kick-off to career to FUT. FIFA 22 comes with the standard repertoire of game modes. Which mode you prefer to play is up to you. Here we give you an overview of the different ways you can play FIFA.

FIFA 22 game mode: Ultimate Team

Arguably the centerpiece for FIFA and has been for a few years now. The majority of the community loves to grind and hunt for the best players in FUT. FUT is all about making your own wishes of a perfect team come true and building your dream squad.

The players are drawn by cards, which you have to earn or buy with real money. That’s why EA has been criticized time and again.

For FUT 22, the biggest change is that the Weekend will no longer exist. So it is now called FUT Champions Finals. There are also Heros and the stadium can be customized in more detail.

If you don’t know yet how to bring your FIFA Points from 21 to 22, just have a look here.

FIFA 22 Game mode: Career mode

The career mode was for a long time the main point for many FIFA players. At least before FUT. It’s still very popular because it’s where you lead your club to glory, rescue it from obscurity and bring it back to the top, or a lame team into a Champions League perennial winner.

You can decide whether you want to start a career as a player or a coach. Both have their appeal – just give it a try!

There were again many speculations about an online mode. But this is something for . What comes back is the possibility to create your own club. We are very happy about that, the options are very diverse and you can start from an established top club to an upcoming mini club.

You already played your favorite club in FIFA 21 career until you dropped? Then we have something for you:

FIFA 22 Game Mode: VOLTA Football

For years we just want a FIFA Street like the ones between 2005 and 2012, but EA rather gives us the VOLTA mode. The small field mode unfortunately doesn’t offer the diverse dribbling and trick possibilities as the Street parts could, but fun the mode is from time to time – especially when alcohol is in the game.

Some changes are expected for FIFA 22, but EA doesn’t reveal too much yet. We will keep you up to date.

The other modes offer you the usual environment. The kick-off mode is perfect if you want to spend a relaxed evening on the couch with your buddies. Everyone chooses a team, no matter if it’s a club, national or women’s team and off you go. So briefly check the lineup and adjust must be already, eh clear. In the kick-off mode you can also create your own rules – or just play completely without rules.

FIFA 22 Game Mode: Online – Season / Co-op – Season
Of course you can enjoy online modes without Ultimate grind. Here you can play with standard teams of your choice against other players in online – Season s and fight your way into the 1st league. Alternatively, you can also play co-op – Season s. In this case, you find a buddy and play in 2v2 against two other opponents. This mode is – fortunately – not really sweaty.

FIFA 22 game mode: Pro Clubs

Pro Clubs is the secret king mode in FIFA. Create your own player, choose your position and compete online with up to ten other buddies. It doesn’t get any more awesome than this. Have fun with your friends, create grimaces, and just name yourself funny. With the new perks and an improved leveling system, Pro Clubs should be much more interesting. Give it a try, it’s a blast!

FIFA 23 RELEASE – WHAT IS KNOWN SO FAR

FIFA 22 is still in full operation, but in the background the game makers of EA Sports are already working on the next part – FIFA 23 will be released in autumn 2022.
But under which name will the classic game be continued in autumn 2022? As things stand, it is not at all certain that the game will continue to bear the name of the world association FIFA. We have the most important information about FIFA 23 for you, why the game series will get a new name and on which consoles the next part of the soccer simulation will be available.

WHEN WILL FIFA 23 BE RELEASED?

We can’t give you an official launch date for the next part of the FIFA game series yet. EA hasn’t communicated much in this regard yet, so so far we can only assume that FIFA 23 will be released in the period between mid-September and early October 2022, just like its predecessors. In the past years, the latest launch date of a FIFA game was October 06.
