In the new FIFA 21 Team of the Week 33 there are again no big names and surprises. But that’s not so bad, because EA is currently doing an enormous fan service and publishes one SBC and one TOTS after the other. The Bundesliga is represented with three players in TOTW 33.

From a German perspective, FC Barcelona keeper Marc-André ter Stegen unfortunately didn’t make it into TOTW 33. Instead, three Bundesliga players are included: Raphaël Guerreiro (Borussia Dortmund), Andrej Kramaric (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim) and Josip Brekalo (VfL Wolfsburg). FIFA 23 WILL BE THE LAST PART OF THE GAME SERIES UNDER THIS NAME

FIFA 23 will be the last part of the game series to be released under the name of the world governing body and in collaboration with EA. For months the rumor mill was bubbling, now all this has been confirmed by the game makers EA in May 2022. The fact is that after almost 30 years of partnership between EA Sports and FIFA, the license agreement between the two parties will expire with the game FIFA 23.

Already with the launch of FIFA 22, Electronic Arts revealed the following in a blog post: There exists “the idea to rename our global EA Sports soccer games.” According to speculation, the world governing body FIFA has demanded double the amount for a continuation of the cooperation in new contract negotiations with EA.
