Another week is behind us and FIFA 21 players are waiting for the new Team of the Week. This week TOTW 26 is ready to be released and it can only be better than its predecessor, right? Indeed: FIFA 21 TOTW 26 can be seen, after all you can expect a strong inform-card of Karim Benzema and Serge Gnabry.

After two relatively disappointing TOTWs in the previous weeks, FIFA fans are eagerly waiting for the brand new TOTW 26, after all, there was a lot going on in the world of soccer last weekend. Karim Benzema finally secures a new Inform card, which also increases his Headliners variant. Players from a Bundesliga team are also happy about three new Inform cards, including Serge Gnabry and André Silva. But both were already available in a much stronger version: as a FUT Freeze card (Gnabry) and as a Bundesliga POTM.

There are not so many top-class cards in this week. At least: Karim Benzema climbs further in the rating thanks to his new Inform variant also with his Headliners card and already reaches a total value of 95 OVR there – so the Frenchman could still catch up with the TOTY strikers before the Team of the – Season . In addition to Serge Gnabry and Dries Mertens, the new cards of Christian Günter or Tim Leibold are particularly worth a look, but otherwise TOTW 26 offers little reason for jumping for joy.

FIFA 23 WILL BE THE LAST PART OF THE GAME SERIES UNDER THIS NAME

FIFA 23 will be the last part of the game series to be released under the name of the world governing body and in collaboration with EA. For months the rumor mill was bubbling, now all this has been confirmed by the game makers EA in May 2022. The fact is that after almost 30 years of partnership between EA Sports and FIFA, the license agreement between the two parties will expire with the game FIFA 23.

Already with the launch of FIFA 22, Electronic Arts revealed the following in a blog post: There exists “the idea to rename our global EA Sports soccer games.” According to speculation, the world governing body FIFA has demanded double the amount for a continuation of the cooperation in new contract negotiations with EA.
