It’s Wednesday evening and FIFA fans know exactly what that means: The new FUT Team of the Week is waiting in the wings. Right on time at 19:00 TOTW 23 was released and can show some strong inform cards. Robert Lewandowski and Jan Oblak secure the strongest cards of the week.
After the strong cards of Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford in TOTW 22, the new TOTW 23 could actually almost just be a disappointment, right? Fortunately, there are some strong inform cards in the current Team of the Week, thanks to which the Weekend League effort should have been worth it. Among them are Robert Lewandowski (94 OVR) and Jan Oblak (92 OVR).
FIFA 21 TOTW 23: Lewandowski, Gosens and Oblak are in the league
Robert Lewandowski’s new Inform card has a total value of 94 in the current TOTW 23, which means that the FC Bayern Munich goal scorer is only four points away from his strong TOTY card.
German Robin Gosens (Atalanta Bergamo) is also in the new Team of the Week and has 84 OVR. In addition, you can finally expect an upgrade in the Ones to Watch after Gareth Bale finally convinced in the Tottenham Hotspur jersey.
The Welshman has an overall value of 85, but he gets competition in the Premier League from Nicolas Pépé (Arsenal London) with 86 OVR.
Surprisingly, Leon Goretzka is not in the TOTW 23 – although we all expected him to be after his three assists at the weekend. There is no FUT headliner upgrade this week.
