FIFA 21 Rulebreakers Team 2 – What is that?

The 21 Halloween promo Rulebreakers enters the second round. The new team also comes up with some special cards in FUT mode and can now be found in packs for a week.

EA Sports has released FIFA 21 Rulebreakers Team 2 for FUT mode. This year’s Halloween promo for the sports game, which kicked off last Friday, already brought us some extremely strong cards. But the second team also looks pretty good at first glance. On the second, however, not quite.

We like the Rulebreakers because rules are made to be broken – or something like that.

The new FIFA 21 Rulebreakers are here

The concept behind the FIFA 21 Rulebreakers is extremely exciting: take a player who is known for a certain characteristic (be it pace, completion or defense), reduce that very characteristic and improve pretty much every other stat in return.

The lame but dangerous striker Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur suddenly becomes one of the fastest and best-performing attackers in the game. The situation is similar with Douglas Costa from FC Bayern Munich , who was given an absolute endgame card. Just in time for Halloween, EA Sports is now launching the second Rulebreakers team, which should be particularly happy for those who play a Bundesliga team.

Rulebreakers Team 2: Featuring Reus, Pogba and more

The absence of Robert Lewandowski in the current Team of the Week was already an indication of a Rulebreakers card, which was then – as is so often – leaked shortly before the start of the new FUT promo on the Internet. And daaaaaaann… he’s not included in the second Rulebreakers team either. Maybe Lewy will follow as an SBC? Hm.

FIFA 21 Rulebreakers Team 2:

  • ZOM: Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund) – 87 OVR
  • ST: Inter Milan – 87 OVR
  • ZM: Paul Pogba (Manchester United) – 87 OVR
  • RF: Angel Di Maria (Paris St.-Germain) – 88 OVR
  • IV: Jose Maria Gimenez (Atletico Madrid) – 86 OVR
  • RV: John Square (Piedmont Calcium) – 84 OVR
  • ST: Alex Teixeira (Jiangsu Suning) – 83 OVR
  • LF: Hakan Calhanoglu (AC Milan) – 83 OVR
  • LV: Patrick van Aanholt (Crystal Palace) – 83 OVR
  • LF: Daniel Castelo Podence (Wolverhampton) – 84 OVR
  • IV: Ike Opara (Minnesota United) – 82 OVR

Rulebreakers: SBCs und Objectives

Of course, there are also players to get hold of in the second team through SBCs and objectives. Karim Bellarabi from Bayer 04 Leverkusen starts with two different versions to choose from: What would you like? Better passes or better dribbling?

Wycombe forward Adebayo Akinfenwa is available as Objective . With 74 OVR, however, rather… uninteresting.

FIFA 22 – FUTs

What could be cooler than just relaxed and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles. With the Team cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. However, the FUT Heroes keep creeping into my mind, so here are the best Ultimate Team Event cards that are definitely worth adding to your collection.

Heroes cards selected by EA for top qualities

Admittedly, the FUT heroes will cost quite a bit of coin, but it turns out that EA has once again brought some top-class players into the game when it comes to selection. As a collector and hunter, it’s an added attraction for FIFA gamers to now include their own favorite heroes in the portfolio and benefit from their individual skills. Both in the game and in team building, the FUTs will revolutionize the game once again.

EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME

Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. A lot of playing was rewarded, points could be collected and items, boosts or balls for the individual game modes could be unlocked.

In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game. There is a heated discussion in the FIFA community about whether the game, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, will be free-to-play. This option is said to be on the table for the game makers from EA, because: It seems that EA earns most of its money with the purchases of FIFA Points in the game mode Ultimate Team and not with the sale of the game itself.
