Update from January 14th

Achraf Hakimi’s rating boosts:

  • +1 pace
  • +3 Shooting
  • +1 Passing
  • +1 dribbling
  • +1 Defense

UPDATE FROM November 19.
Two Ones to Watch upgrades for the Italian Serie A. Both Achraf Hakimi, and Arturo Vidal, from Inter Milan have made it into the new FIFA 21 TOTW 8. Both cards increase by two points and come to 85 OVR after the boost.

Vidal still lacks a bit of pace, but it still solidifies the Chilean’s rank as one of the best and most versatile midfielders in FIFA 21 – especially in Serie A. Hakimi’s card is also getting more interesting – especially as a right winger when you play with a three-man backline.

Achraf Hakimi’s rating boosts:

  • +1 pace
  • +3 Shooting
  • +3 Passing
  • +2 Dribbling
  • +2 Defense
  • +2 Physique

UPDATE FROM November 12
The next Chelsea FC player to enjoy an upgrade: Central defender Thiago Silva has made it into FIFA 21 TOTW 7 – with this his Ones to Watch card also increases by one counter. Although the Brazilian still lacks speed, Silva is hardly anyone to beat when it comes to defensive values.

Thiago Silva’s rating boosts:

  • +1 pace
  • +1 Shooting
  • +2 Passing
  • +2 Dribbling
  • +1 Defense
  • +1 Physique

All FIFA 21 OTW cards at a glance
Two Ones to Watch teams await you in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, which contain exchangeable special cards. You can also earn additional OTW players via Squad Building Challenges or Objectives – but these are not exchangeable and cannot be traded.

FIFA 21 Ones to Watch – The hottest FUT cards
Since an OTW card could theoretically rise in rating every week in FUT 21, the special items are extremely popular among players. This year, there are a whole two OTW teams available in card packs until October 23. After that, you can only get your hands on the coveted players by buying them on the transfer market.

Here you can also tactic and sometimes get some virtual coins in profit: If a FIFA 21 OTW player drops out injured, the ticket prices drop. If you then buy them and the player gets an Inform card after his return, a rich bonus beckons.

FIFA 21 OTW vs TOTW – What is the difference?
TOTW (Team of the Week) cards are released every Wednesday at 19:00. These are the so-called “Inform” variants that a player receives when he has shown a strong performance on the real soccer field.

A TOTW card has improved stats compared to the normal gold version, but is not dynamic. Here you have to buy each newly released TOTW card to get the best possible version.

OTW cards are different: these cards increase in value every time a player receives an Inform card. So in most cases the initial purchase price is much more expensive, especially in the Premier League. But you save the purchase of further special cards.
