He finally did it. In February 2021, the FIFA community crowned Argentina’s Lionel Messi as Player of the Month in Spain. The La Liga POTM is anything but cheap, however: the card costs around 1.7 million coins – but with a total value of 96, that’s no wonder.
After a disappointing La Liga POTM in January, the February special card is finally worth looking at again. Okay, POTM Messi costs about 1.7 million coins more than its predecessor. But these values… a dream. We have the cheapest SBC solution.
La Liga POTM Lionel Messi
- Position: MS
- Nation: Argentina
- League: La Liga
- OVR: 96
- Weak foot: 4 stars
- Special moves: 4 stars
- Price: about 1.75 million coins
- Expiration: 05 April
Is the card worth it?
Um… yes? We think: take a look at the values. Okay, the medium/low workrates aren’t the best, but otherwise? Hallelujah!
La Liga POTM Lionel Messi SBC solution
Now that you know how sick the map just looks, let’s get to the bad news. You’ll have to trade in a whole six SBC teams to secure La Liga POTM Lionel Messi. At least you get a card pack back for each team.
- Team with a player from Argentina (84 OVR, min. 1 TOTW, min. 70 chemistry)
- Team with a player from FC Barcelona (85 OVR, min. 60 chemistry)
- Team with a player from La Liga (85 OVR, min. 1 TOTW, min. 55 chemistry)
- Team with a TOTW player (86 OVR, min. 45 chemistry)
- Team with 88 OVR (min. 40 chemistry)
- Team with 89 OVR (min. 30 chemistry)
Team 1: Argentina
95,000 coins costs team 1 and comes from La Liga and Serie A. As TOTW card you use goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski from FC Bologna from TOTW 23.
Team 2: Tactical Emulation
In this team, which costs around 150,000 coins, you’ll focus on La Liga, with the exception of keeper Rui Patricio and Ever Banega. Jordi Alba serves as a Barca player.
Team 3: La Liga
Again about 20,000 coins more expensive is the third team, which is mostly from the Premier League. La Liga goalkeeper Aitor provides the link to his Spanish compatriots Pau Lopez and Rodri, and you use Akihiro Ienaga as the TOTW card.
Team 4: Top Form
Bam. Team 4 will cost you 260,000 coins, and you can choose a hybrid team from different leagues, with four goalkeepers. As an inform card you use Robin Gosens in the left midfield.
Team 5: 88-rated squad
Team 4 wasn’t expensive enough though, Team 5 will cost you a whopping 450,000 coins and is primarily from La Liga and Bundesliga. The low chemistry requirement means you can use even more goalkeepers – a full seven keepers in this team.
