The 21 Future Stars have started, in this everything revolves around young talents who have a rosy future ahead of them. What you can expect, which players are coming and when it starts, you can find out here.

This year EA Sports gives the FIFA 21 FUT Future Stars priority over the Winter Refresh. We have the complete overview for you: All information, players, cards & SBCs for the new event can be found here.

Future Stars Academy players in Team 2
On the website of the event, EA Sports has revealed that the coveted Future Stars Academy players will appear in the second week of the promo. It states:

Starting in the second week of the Future Stars event, you will be able to develop your own talents and upgrade selected Future Stars to FUT Future Stars by completing Academy tasks.
There will be a total of four versions of Academy players, reflecting the rise of U23 talent to the top of the world. However, it is currently unclear which cards we can expect, but the Academy cards already offered a lot of potential in FIFA 20.

Future Stars Team 1 is available
On Friday EA Sports released the first FUT Future Stars Team, in which some really strong cards can be found. Team 2 will follow one week later on February 12th. Until then, however, we can probably expect some first-class SBCs.

Future Stars Teaser – 3 players revealed
In the next two weeks FIFA 21 Team is all about upcoming talents in the world of soccer: The FUT 21 Future Stars are coming. The new loading screen teases the first three players, who could be meant?

What are the FUT Future Stars?

The Future Stars promo event is all about young talents who could outperform GOATs like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi or Robert Lewandowski in a few years.

As part of the event, you can expect greatly improved cards from some of the youngsters who have already proven themselves on the pitch. The biggest talents in the world of soccer will be given huge value boosts in Future Stars, reflecting their world-class potential.

Future Stars release: when does the event start?

The Future Stars event will start this coming Friday, February 05. Presumably, the developers will ring in the new promo at 18:00 German time, when the first of two teams should be found in packs.

Presumably, the new promo will extend over two weeks again. Future Stars Team 2 should then follow a week later, on February 12.

Future Stars Academy: Will there be Upgrade Objective players again?

Last year, upgradeable Objective players made their debut as part of Future Stars. For example, Norway’s Martin Ødegaard started with an 80 card and then upgraded by completing certain tasks.

At the highest version, the winger got a whopping 87 OVR. Manchester United’s Daniel James was also equipped with such a Future Stars Academy card. Whether these Upgrade Objective players will be available again this time remains to be seen.

Once again, there should be some absolute end-game cards among the FUT Future Stars, which will be found in many teams over the coming months. But which players are included?

In order for a player to make it into the Future Stars, he must be under 23 years old and have shown “great potential” in real soccer. So, usually, players from the top clubs in Europe can be found in the teams.
