In FIFA 21 Ultimate Team you can now get a random Base Icon through a Squad Building Challenge. Will you dare to gamble in the hope of getting Eusebio and Zidane or will you draw a blank? We have the cheapest FIFA 21 Base Icon Upgrade SBC solution.
Let’s face it, every FIFA player dreams of putting icons in their team. Legends from past eras of the sport are among the strongest players in FUT mode and some of them are worth several million coins – but there are also a few studs among them. Let’s have a look at the FIFA 21 Base Icon Upgrade SBC solution and see how much the fun will cost you.
FIFA 21 Base Icon Upgrade SBC Solution
- Reward: A random Base Icon
- Costs: about 575.000 coins
- Expiration: November 30th
For the FIFA 21 Base Icon Upgrade SBC, you’ll need to trade in a total of four teams. Each of them is pretty darn expensive. Of course, you’ll get additional rewards for each team, but they’re hardly worth anything.
But those rewards aren’t what we’re after. We want to draw Zidane, Eusebio and Cruyff – maybe Philipp Lahm or one of the new FIFA 21 icons. So is the SBC worth it? Not completely.
At the end you will get a base icon, but it will be chosen randomly. With a little luck the SBC will make you rich – but who is lucky in FUT 21? If you’re unlucky, you’ll end up with far less than what you invested.
The cheapest SBC solution
If you are still not convinced that you should skip this SBC, here is the cheapest FIFA 21 Base Icon Upgrade SBC solution for you. The following teams have to be handed in:
- Team with 85 OVR and 75 chemistry
- Team with one TOTW player, min. 85 OVR, min. 70 chemistry
- Team with one TOTW player, min. 86 OVR, min. 60 chemistry
- Team with one TOTW player, min. 75 OVR, min. 50 Chemistry
Team 1
When the requirements are this high, we usually turn to the Premier League. The Inter duo of Milan Skriniar and Christian Eriksen, as well as goalkeeper Yann Sommer of Borussia Mönchengladbach, serve to close the deal. The cheapest of the four SBCs at around 100,000 coins.
Team 2
Less chemistry, but a higher rating and an Inform we also need. But hey: with around 110,000 coins, the second SBC is also still affordable.
Team 3
Chemistry doesn’t pose any more problems here, but the inform and rating requirements do. This SBC costs just under 150,000 coins.
Team 4
This team alone costs 210,000 coins – that’s more than many a base icon on the transfer market fetches. In order to lower the price, we resort to a whole five goalkeepers.
FIFA Squad Building Challenges (short SBC)
The FIFA Squad Building Challenges (SBC for short) are about putting together a team according to certain specifications. They are an important part of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) and bring coins, valuable packs or special cards when fulfilled.
For the most part, you’ll have to line up eleven players that you have in your club and then send this squad off. These players will then disappear from your club. In return, you’ll receive a reward, such as a pack or a special card. As with FIFA 19, FIFA 20 and FIFA 21 we will report about the latest SBCs for FIFA 22 here and help you to judge if it is worth to complete a challenge.
START WITH THE SQUAD BUILDING CHALLENGES
In Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), you can use your player items to build unique teams based on various challenge conditions. You can then submit these to receive bonuses.
Here’s how:
- From the FIFA 22 main menu, select the FIFA Ultimate Team section.
- In the home page section, select Squad Building Challenges and call them up.
- Select the challenge you want to complete. They are grouped by category.
Create a team.
- Using items from your club or from the transfer market, build a team that meets the challenge conditions. Usually this is a mix of player quality, team chemistry, team value, nationalities, leagues and clubs.
Master the Challenge to submit your team and receive bonuses.
- All SBC submissions cannot be undone. Once you complete an SBC, the submitted items will be permanently removed from your club in exchange for bonuses. Our consultants cannot restore submitted items.
- For some SBCs, you will only have a limited amount of time to complete them. Once a challenge has expired, you will no longer be able to submit a team.
More details about SBCs
- Some SBCs consist of multiple challenges with individual bonuses and a larger overall completion bonus. Other challenges are single challenges.
- Some SBCs are repeatable. You have a chance to get different bonuses for each team submission, but you might also get the same bonus.
- SBCs are available in all FIFA 22 versions, but they can vary depending on the platform. Bonuses can also vary from platform to platform.
