What If will be cancelled in FIFA 22 and replaced by another, new event. We show you all players of the Fantasy FUT Promo, their current ratings and keep you up to date with the Upgrade Tracker, who gets which upgrade and when.
We’ll tell you everything you need to know about Fantasy FUT in FIFA Ultimate Team and keep you up to date with the ratings with the Upgrade Tracker.
What is Fantasy FUT in FIFA 22?
The event is similar to What If from years past and will likely replace it entirely in FIFA 22. Players receive dynamic maps that can be upgraded through real-life achievements. This time it’s not enough if the team performs. Players must be on the field…
When is Fantasy FUT Team 2 coming to FIFA 22?
After Birthday is before Fantasy FUT. The event started on Friday, March 18th in Ultimate Team with Team 1. This promotion will also last two weeks. The second team then appeared in FUT on March 25th.
In our FUT calendar you can keep track of all events of the FIFA 22 year.
The cards are dynamic and can collect upgrades over time – just like the spiritual predecessor What If. You know that from the headliners or from the Road to the Final .
In What If, it was previously the case that players were divided into team parts and received their upgrades through various tasks. The goalkeeping and defending teams had to keep a clean sheet within five games after the start of the promotion, while the midfielders and attacking teams had to score six goals in five games.
FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT Upgrade System:
Players can get up to +3 improvements in OVR coupled with some quests. How the upgrades work in FUT Fantasy:
- +1 upgrade if you win the league (player must have played)
- +1 upgrade for attacker + midfielder for goal or assist |Â +1 upgrade for defender + goalie in clean sheet game
- +1 upgrade if 3 matches completed
Games count towards upgrades from April 1, 2022. Visit the EA website for more information.
Fantasy FUT: how does the new promo work – what upgrades await us
Of course we are expecting some new upgrades for our FUT favorites in this promo as well . Maybe even some of the previously neglected players in Fantasy FUT will make it…

Fantasy FUT Team 1: Featuring Rashford, Saint-Maximin and Nani
That’s how the first squad of players went in Fantasy FUT. We are excited to see who gets which upgrades.
FIFA 22 – FUTs
What could be cooler than just relaxed gaming and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles. With the Ultimate Team Event cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. However, the FUT Heroes keep creeping into my mind, so here are the best Ultimate Team Event cards that are definitely worth adding to your collection.
Heroes cards selected by EA for top qualities
Admittedly, the FUT heroes will cost quite a bit of coin, but it turns out that EA has once again brought some top-class players into the game when it comes to selection. As a collector and hunter, it’s an added attraction for FIFA gamers to now include their own favorite heroes in the portfolio and benefit from their individual skills. Both in the game and in team building, the FUTs will revolutionize the game once again.
EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME
Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. A lot of playing was rewarded, points could be collected and items, boosts or balls for the individual game modes could be unlocked.
In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game. There is a heated discussion in the FIFA community about whether the game, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, will be free-to-play. This option is said to be on the table for the game makers from EA, because: It seems that EA earns most of its money with the purchases of FIFA Points in the game mode Ultimate Team and not with the sale of the game itself.
