Are you up for a Battle Royale, but don’t care so much about aiming your firearms with pinpoint accuracy, but rather want to enjoy the fun of last-man-standing races? Like Minecraft obstacle courses, only prettier? Then there’s good news: Starting June 21, 2022, the friendly and cuddly Battle Royale will be Free2Play and free to play on all platforms!
Most Battle Royale games like PUBG, H1Z1, and Fortnite are all about you walking off the field as the last survivor at the end of a round due to your tactical prowess and thanks to a good dose of aiming water in a competition. Last Man Standing is the gameplay of first-person and 3rd-person shooters in the battle royale genre. If you’re not into shooting and finding cover (and building in Fortnite build mode), you might want to play Minecraft mods for Battle Royale thrills, where the goal isn’t to kill the others, but to be the last one to survive a grueling obstacle course.
And it’s exactly this gameplay that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, released in the summer of 2020, makes its own. It’s brightly colored, pretty to look at, and the characters look super droll. The thing is, though, you have to pay for Fall Guys, and that’s not going to sit well with one or two thrifty gamers. At least until now!
Fall Guys: Free2Play from June 21, 2022
In a livestream, the folks at Mediatonic, the developers of Fall Guys, announced that Fall Guys will be free-to-play starting June 21, 2022, on PC (via the Epic Store, which is why the Fortnite Twitter account promoted the Fall Guys announcement), Xbox, Playstation, and Switch. In addition, there is both Cross Play – you can play together with players on other platforms – and Cross Progression. Your achievements will be saved on your account and will be accessible in every version of the game.

Those who register now for the Free2Play variant of Fall Guys can look forward to poses for the beans (the game characters) as well as a costume. Those who have already purchased Fall Guys will receive the Legacy Pack as a reward for the changeover. This offers you three costumes for your beans, a nickname, a nameplate and the Battle Pass for the next – Season . All information can be found on the Fall Guys Free2Pla y website.
