The Italian soccer club Inter Milan has an exclusive contract with Konami signed for the eFootball games. This means that the prestigious club in FIFA 23 will not appear. The contract runs initially only for the 2022/23 – Season . As the club’s official “Videogame Partner”, the logo of the eFootball series will also be featured on Inter Milan’s tracksuits and pre-match kits during the upcoming – Season . The youth academy will also be temporarily referred to as the “Konami Youth Development Centre in Memory of Giacinto Facchetti”. The club announced all of this on its website and also noted that the logo would be seen beyond the upcoming – Season . So a continuation of the partnership between Inter Milan and Konami seems more than realistic.
The revolving door at Konami
Recently it was announced that the deal between Konami and the soccer club Juventus Torino is finished. Accordingly, it seems that Konami has tried to fill this gap in the Italian soccer market. So fans of FIFA games can most likely look forward to a return of Juventus Torino, but will have to say goodbye to Inter Milan.
