The game mode originally introduced as “Creative Team” is now integrated into the game as “Dreamteam”. In this mode, players can create their own team and compete against other “Dream Teams” from around the world using a variety of soccer strategies.

After an initial one-week launch phase, various in-game events will begin from April 21.

Finally, there are some new licenses from Japan and North America: Meiji Yasuda J1 League, Meiji Yasuda J2 League, MLS Players Association and the USL Championship.

eFootball™ League*

This is the division-based league where players can play their way to the top in PVP duels. Users can create their own “dream team” and then compete against other players worldwide.

Each “phase” will last for 28 days. In this phase, players have the goal of advancing to the highest possible division by playing numerous matches.
If players reach the “promotion” mark after ten games, they will advance to the next higher division. Conversely, if players do not reach the “Remain in League” mark after ten games, they will be relegated.
If a user reaches the highest division (Division 1), the game is played for the ranking within the division, not for the chance of promotion anymore.
At the end of each phase there will be rewards corresponding to the highest division achieved. Rankings will be reset afterwards and a new phase will begin.

*eFootball™ League will begin from April 21.

Collect player and card types

One of the main features from Dreamteam mode is collecting and activating specific players and managers. eFootball™ 2022 players can use the in-game currency GP to acquire standard players and managers for themselves. The different types of players are described below:

Legendary: The Legendary player type is based on a specific – Season in which they had an absolutely outstanding performance. This also includes inactive players with a fantastic career.
Trending: Player type Trending is based on the impressive performance from a specific game or week of the current – Season .
Featured: Handpicked players selected based on their performance over the current – Season .
Default: Player values based on the current – Season .
Standard (Foil): For standard players, there is some possibility of obtaining a player with a higher team playing strength.
