Cheaters in FIFA 22 are currently hunted by EA.
Cheaters are always a problem in online games and regularly cause banned accounts. Stupid only if the developers themselves give us the necessary tools to cheat while gaming. Because that is currently the case with FIFA 22 the case.
Glitch for cheaters: In EA’s latest FIFA offshoot there is a bug in the FUT mode. Whoever interrupts a match by returning to the dashboard of the Playstation or Xbox during the match will not be punished with a defeat. So, whoever is behind once can simply end the match without any consequences. This not only gives an unfair advantage, but is of course extremely frustrating for the other side.
EA punishes the beneficiaries of the bug
On Twitter EA has now announced that accounts of players* who used the glitch to their advantage will be banned for seven days. This also means that all affected players will not be able to participate in the FIFA Ultimate Team Champions Finals. In total, the ban hit over 30,000 accounts.

Glitch in the message: Funnily enough, a small bug also crept into the pop-up notification for all cheaters. They were shown in the game that they would be banned for 1,000 days. If this affects you, you don’t have to worry, the correct information is the one in the mail, i.e. seven days.

Exploiting a glitch is of course less bad than using cheat software. In the end the developers have to take a look at their own nose, because they made the cheating possible in the first place. In fact, in every FIFA there are one or two tricks that can be used to score goals very easily. And those who exploit these weaknesses don’t have to expect a penalty.
One of these is the clipped shot from outside the penalty area. A technique that the goalkeepers in FIFA 22 don’t handle well at all. However, the finesse shot has been improved both in the Title Update 1 as well as in the Title update 2 toned down a little.

Exploit for the co-op mode: If you control a team in pairs, you can use the stupid behavior of the AI defenders exploit, even in online mode. When you have your own kick, you have to kick the ball far into the opponent’s half.
