EA announces quick bug fixes for FIFA 22

EA Sports has officially announced that the Live Tuning Tool can be used to fix minor game errors in 22, i.e. bugs and glitches, more quickly . Absolutely celebratory.

EA is giving us more and more new information , features and updates for the upcoming FIFA 22. The lead gameplay producer Sam Rivera has described another feature to the English newspaper “Mirror” that can be extremely useful for us fans.

In order to be able to react faster to errors in the new FIFA, we have been working on a new feature that we call the Live Tuning Tool. In FIFA 22, this allows us to work on gameplay and other changes – without releasing a full title patch.

That sounds pretty nice. For example, how often were the goalkeepers for release broken and only had to be edited afterwards with really big patches?

FIFA 22: Bugs and glitches are fixed faster

It remains to be seen whether such “big problems” can actually be fixed quickly and easily with the Live Tuning Tool without having to load and install a 20 GB patch.

Smaller bugs and glitches should, however, be able to be removed from the game much more effectively. The interview also said that “small fine adjustments for illustrative purposes, which used to take up to two months, can now be published much faster”.

Excluded from this are large building blocks of the game such as animations and code modifications. This cannot be achieved with the live tuning tool .

We’re excited to see what’s to come in the future. If this also makes the big title patches smaller, it’s actually just awesome.

Does FIFA 22 actually come with fewer FUT bugs thanks to Live Tuning Tool ?

So if several players report an annoying bug from now on, it is quite possible that EA will react quickly and cover our backs with a quick update. This will make even the larger patch notes smaller. So in theory.

I mean, no one wants to lose in Ultimate Team because of some kick-off bug (veterans remember when a kick-off variant allowed you to hit the ball the same distance and cheat goals) or other game errors. Substitute in the Weekend , we all make it that way, don’t we?

Even in career mode, there are always funny little mistakes every year when the coaches on the sidelines suddenly appear in jerseys instead of suits. Other mistakes, such as players just not being able to borrow properly, are just plain annoying.

The Live Tuning Tool is intended to provide a remedy. Sounds like we can look forward to it. At least if EA uses it regularly.

FIFA 22 – FUTs

What could be cooler than just relaxed gaming and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles. With the Ultimate Team Event cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. However, the FUT Heroes keep creeping into my mind, so here are the best Ultimate Team Event cards that are definitely worth adding to your collection.

Heroes cards selected by EA for top qualities

Admittedly, the FUT heroes will cost quite a bit of coin, but it turns out that EA has once again brought some top-class players into the game when it comes to selection. As a collector and hunter, it’s an added attraction for FIFA gamers to now include their own favorite heroes in the portfolio and benefit from their individual skills. Both in the game and in team building, the FUTs will revolutionize the game once again.

EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME

Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. A lot of playing was rewarded, points could be collected and items, boosts or balls for the individual game modes could be unlocked.

In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game. There is a heated discussion in the FIFA community about whether the game, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, will be free-to-play. This option is said to be on the table for the game makers from EA, because: It seems that EA earns most of its money with the purchases of FIFA Points in the game mode Ultimate Team and not with the sale of the game itself.
