Viktoria Köln actively promotes youth work

As in analog soccer, Viktoria is actively committed to youth development. At the start, no professional players:inside are signed, but talents are scouted and promoted. The only professional is Youssef Amyn, a winger from Viktoria Köln, who will certainly pick up a tip or two. Getting into esports is very important to Viktoria Köln CEO Axel Freisewinkel:

In order to keep interested parties up to date about the esports department and to be able to play out attractive content, dedicated Viktoria Esport channels will also be created on social media. Those who are scouted will be promoted not only playfully but also in front of the camera.

Scouting tournaments from August

From now on, talents from and around Cologne can apply until August 10. Afterwards tournaments are organized, in order to be able to discover the best Spieler:innen. According to Erhan Kayman, it is not only important to be good and get far, but also the appearance and behavior with each other has a great importance. After all, the participants have to fit in with the club Viktoria Köln.

• Application phase: August 1 to August 10
• 3x online tournaments: August 14 | 21 | 28
• Live event: September 11
• Number of talents promoted: Three talents join the squad
