October 2022 will see the next edition of the infamous mega tournament in “Dota 2”, The International 11. Before that happens, however, the teams that have so far been left without tickets will battle it out for the remaining spots at the annual finals, which are up for grabs in regional qualifying rounds. ESL One Malaysia 2022 – Format
Here’s how ESL One Malaysia 2022 plays out:
- Group Stage: August 23-25, 2022
- Final round: August 26-28, 2022
The dozen teams, made up of invited and qualified teams, will each be put into half of a group. This has all six teams compete against each other in best-of-2 series, with the top two teams in each bracket ending up in the Upper Bracket of the finals, while the quintets finishing third and fourth go to the Lower Bracket. The two teams in fifth and sixth place will fly home.
In the Double Elimination Bracket of the play-offs, the game mode is best-of-3 – except for the final, which is best-of-5.
