On September 10 and 11, 2022, the two top WoW guilds Liquid and Echo will compete in a kind of raid speed run for $100,000. The game will be played in the Fateful Raids of Shadowlands. We will also get a taste of the Dragonflight PvP feature Mixed Singles.
WoW’s Esports department is particularly experimental towards the end of Shadowlands. After the Variety show with speedruns, level challenges and treasure hunts. there are two more Esport events in September: Xy’mox’ Benefit Chest and the Mixed Singles Showdown. Just like the Variety Show, however, it’s more about the entertainment than the Esport competition.
The Xy’mox’ Benefit Chest raid event pits the top two guilds, Liquid and Echo, against each other over two days (September 10 and 11, 2022) will compete against each other in PvE for $100,000. Both will compete in the Fated raids of Shadowlands. However, there are some extra rules. The winner will donate the $100,000 to a charity of their choice. At the PvP event at the end of September, the best NA players compete in the arena. The prize pool here is also 100,000 dollars! As always, you can follow the whole thing live on YouTube and Twitch.

Xy’mox’ has experimented with fateful powers and presents two of the best WoW-Guilds to the test, who want to raise money for AbleGamers and Direct Relief. On September 10 and 11, Echo and Team Liquid will pay a visit to Castle Nathria and the Mausoleum of the First live on YouTube and Twitch.
Both guilds must defeat selected bosses as quickly as possible to earn a share of the $100,000 USD prize pool for their respective charities. But Xy’mox has come up with some special tricks for them:
- Instead of the usual rotation of fated powers, at least two fated powers will be active for all bosses. Twice as strong, twice as exciting!
- In each raid, there will be two checkpoints that offer a sum for the charity. The higher sum will go to the guild that reaches the checkpoint first.
- To make it even more exciting, the guild that reaches a checkpoint first will receive a fateful curse that will make one of the next battles even more chaotic.

Before the mixed singles in Dragonflight is getting a ranked mode, we present the very first competitive event of this brawler: the Mixed Singles Showdown! In this three-day invitational tournament, your favorite Arena players from Europe and North America will battle it out live on YouTube and Twitch from September 23-25 to find out who’s the best at Mixed Singles and compete for their share of the $100,000 prize pool.
On September 23 (EU) and 24 (NA), 36 players from each region will play three matches in Mixed Singles. They are divided into lobbies of six players each and after each match the seeding list is randomly drawn.

After these matches, the six players with the most points will play a final match where the two winners (one DPS player and one healer) will be crowned the winners. Participants will be selected from competitors at the Arena World Championship, ranked PvP ladders, and members of the PvP community. We will soon reveal who will participate in the Mixed Singles Showdown!
