Dominant Champions in LoL | Top Picks for Pros

In of Legends, the Summer Split started last weekend in many leagues. We summarize for you which champions are currently particularly strong, so they are either banned or played. At the top in all major leagues are three in particular.

Which champions are they? For this listing, we looked at the four major leagues – LEC, LCS, LPL and LCK. The result was three champions who were noticed by the pros in almost all of the 113 games (via gol.gg):

  • Wukong – 55x played, 54x banned – 96.5% of all games played or banned
  • Lucian – 22x played, 86x banned – 95.6% of all games played or banned
  • Gwen – 29x played, 74x banned – 91.1 % of all games played or banned

Viego and Ahri follow in 4th and 5th place, but only reach values around 80%. In the European LEC they are even observed in only 60% (Ahri) and 53% (Viego) of the games.

By the way, there are also 5 champions that the pros don’t vote for at all.

Just a few days ago, introduced the new AD Carry. Check out Nilah for yourself in this video:

Wukong makes his big comeback in Jungle despite nerf

What makes the champions so strong? If you look at the stats, you’ll notice that Gwen has been one of the most popular champions all year. Especially her invulnerability and good damage make her a real monster in 1v1 on the top lane.

Lucian and Wukong, on the other hand, celebrated their rise especially around the Mid– Season Invitational, which Team RNG won not without controversy. Already in the previous patch 12.7, for example, there was a buff for Wukong.

Although patch 12.11 made many nerfs and weakened Wukong, it did not shake up the meta among the top teams. Currently, the same three champions are at the top that were at MSI in May.

The only one who is a bit of a surprise is Swain. He was played 19x in the Chinese LPL and banned 17x (59% of all matches). In the Spring Split in China (0%) and in the MSI (0%) he didn’t play any role at all. He benefited from the latest updates.

Can I play these champions in SoloQ as well? Yes, although there are restrictions.

  • Wukong is ranked 5th among junglers in all leagues in the current patch with a winrate of 53.1%. If you look at the players with rank Platinum or higher, he even comes in 3rd place of all junglers.
  • Lucian has a winrate of 50.4% for all ranks (8th place of all ADCs) and even comes to a winrate of 51.2% (6th place) in the Platinum+ range.

Gwen, on the other hand, is the toplaner with the worst winrate (45.3 % – rank 50) from rank iron on. In return, it jumps up when you look into Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger. Gwen is a super strong champion, but not so easy to play. You should keep that in mind when you go toplane with her.

What do you guys think about the three champions? Do you play them yourselves or do you think they are overrated? Feel free to write it in the comments.

In the European LEC, there was quite a bit of movement in the teams’ rosters during the off– Season . Vitality, in particular, has been reorganizing its roster:

LoL: Team Vitality buys the best players in Europe for millions of €, fails – now gets 2 players from Asia after all

Shadow Company makes its first appearance in Loose Ends, in the mountains of the Caucasus on the border between Russia and Georgia. There they protect the landing zone that Roach and Ghost must reach after downloading secret files about Makarov. They are only on the good side for a short time, because their leader, General Shepherd, betrays Roach and Ghost and kills them both. Some soldiers help Shepherd dispose of the bodies by dumping gasoline over them and lighting them with Shepherd’s cigar.

Dimitri was born in 1920 in a small village in the Urals. He grew up without a father because his father was a staunch opponent of the Bolsheviks. His father was sent to a Soviet labor camp. He was taught how to shoot by his grandfather. At that time he shot at wolves and deer. So he became an excellent shooter. Dimitri was forcibly recruited in 1938 and in 1942 was assigned to the defense of Stalingrad.

Call of Duty-G11

The G11 is a three-shot salvo assault rifle from Call of Duty: Black Ops. The G11 appears in the campaign only in one mission, namely numbers, when it is used by Dr. Clarke. While the player must fire the G11 in bursts, Clarke’s weapon is somehow fully automatic. In Hong Kong, several G11s can be found in weapon stashes, with or without low-energy scopes.

Maps Call of Duty – Estate

Estate is a medium-sized multiplayer map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Estate has taken great influence from the single player mission Loose Ends. The house, which stands on a hill, is an important hub in the game, as you can see over the entire map and many flags and targets are located here.

Camouflage Call of Duty – olive

Olive gives the weapon a monochromatic, slightly green camouflage. If you do it on weapons that are already slightly green like the AUG or the G11, the camouflage makes almost no difference. The camouflage is often seen in combat training, especially with a faction in which the player plays. Attaching them to weapons with wood sections, like the AK-47 or M14, transforms the wood into a synthetic art form.

Fraction Call of Duty ISA

The Intelligence Support Activity ( ISA for short ) is a branch of the American military and a faction in the Call of Duty: Black Ops II. You are tasked with exploiting interesting material that other troops, such as the Delta Force, find in operations.
