We’re approaching the third phase of WoW: , and we’re taking the opportunity to look at server populations in December 2021. How have the last few months and the start of the Championship – Season affected the end-game stats of Outland?

With the latest ID of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic came the Nerfs for the Serpent Shrine and the Fortress of Storms, moreover the attunement requirements for the tier 5 disappeared. Or to put it another way: Blizzard developers set the course to launch phase 3 of TBC Classic.

How much is going on in Outland?

So we’re approaching the third phase of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic, and we’re taking the opportunity to look at server populations in December 2021. Especially since it’s exciting to see to what extent the championship – Season has affected the population. For our check, we visited Ironforge.pro again. There, all characters that appeared in a log for a TBC endgame content in a certain period of time are recorded

So we can see how many characters are participating in the PvE endgame on the different servers (we don’t include the characters that were additionally recorded in the arena for reasons of comparability). The most recent numbers are from the last December ID from December 08, 2021 to December 15, 2021.

The populations of the TBC Classic servers

  • The US server Benediction is again the biggest (TBC) Classic server! Counted there were 22,343 characters (in November: 21,277 characters, a big jump!).
  • Last month’s leader, EU server Firemaw, meanwhile has 20,913 characters (21,890).
  • The biggest German is still Venoxis, with 8,978 characters (8,324 – 51.8 percent Horde (in November still 63.5 percent!)).
  • The former largest DE server Everlook comes to 7,675 characters (7,796 – 71.9 percent Alliance).
  • Lucifron continues to lose and currently comes to 2,337 (instead of 2,818) counted characters (at 100 percent Horde)
  • On Razorfen, 5,644 (instead of 5,507) active characters (at 52.2 percent Alliance) were counted.
  • Dragon’s Call has 2,408 (instead of 3,149) active characters (at 66.9 percent Horde).
  • Lakeshire comes to 4,224 (instead of 4,099) active characters (at 63.8 percent Alliance)
  • Patchwerk comes to 3,169 (instead of 3,599) active characters (at 72.3 percent Horde)
  • Transcendence comes to 3,121 (instead of 3,620) active characters (66.9 percent Horde)
  • No logs were counted for Heartstriker this month, last month there were 1,988 active characters
  • For Celebras it went down again after small increases: There were only 212 (instead of 442) characters counted on Warcraftlogs, 0 of them (in November 69) on Horde side.
  • In total, 295,225 raid-active characters were counted across the US, EU and Russia regions (in November: 352,712).

The overall numbers are dropping

Let’s note: The number of players is decreasing slightly on almost all servers. On the other hand, there are hardly any realms that are increasing noticeably. Certainly, this also has to do with the championship – Season , which is interesting for numerous Classic fans, especially thanks to the Hardcore option. In any case, it’s time for Blizzard to announce phase 3 of Burning Crusade Classic soon.
