Dr Disrespect sharply criticizes the Warzone developers

From the looks of it, the team behind Warzone has once again made a decision that the Doc doesn’t like at all. To increase the time it takes to kill an enemy player, the aiming with ADS (Aim Down Sights) should be weakened. So in the future, players will need a little bit longer to look through their scope.

The streamer absolutely cannot understand this decision, and for him it could even destroy the game completely, as the “iconic” Warzone feeling will be lost here:

“It goes against the most basic design principles. Believe it or not, they actually want to extend the ADS time of the game! To extend the time to kill? Not to mitigate damage, because only two or three bullets get through the 7-HZ servers we play on. No, they increase the time to aim.”

“You want the game to be less fun? Make it less athletic? You want to give the player less control? In response? That’s not the right way at all. It’s a big mistake. You should make a game, especially Call of Duty and Warzone, as sporty as possible.”

Dr Disrespect is not the only Warzone player who is rather negative about the whole thing. Other well-known figures also commented on Twitter about the upcoming downgrades, including the Twitch streamer Symfuhny, and the former professional player Tyler “TeeP” Polchow.

Whether the increased time to aim will actually make it into the game, and how its impact on the overall gameplay experience will be, we’ll likely find out no earlier than the launch of the title’s second – Season .
