The first thing Giovanni will rely on is his beloved Snobilikat. You should use Battle Pokémon against the Normal-type Pokémon:

• Mega Slapor with Foot Kick and Focus Kick
• Mega ampharos with volt change and focus kick

Defeat Nidoking, Machomei and Rihornior – Best counters against 2nd Pokémon.

In second position, Giovanni can choose from a total of three different monsters: Nidoking, Machomei and Rihornior. Which of the three Pokémon Giovanni then uses in battle is a matter of chance.

How to defeat Nidoking: One possible Pokémon you may encounter in battle against Giovanni is the Poison and Ground Pokémon, Nidoking. Due to its type, it is weak against Psycho, Water, Ice, and Ground attacks.
