Video game site HLTV named Salo the 13th best Counter-Strike player in the world in 2019Salo played in the Finnish ENCE eSports in 2018–2020. Salo’s role on the team was a rifler. Salo was among the ranks of ENCE, among other things, winning the 2018 StarSeries i-League CS: GO tournament, which rewarded the winning team with $ 125,000.

The SG 550 is an assault rifle manufactured by Swiss Arms AG (formerly a division of Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft, now known as SIG Holding AG) in Switzerland. “SG” is an abbreviation for Sturmgewehr (“assault rifle”). The rifle is based on the earlier 5.56×45mm NATO SIG SG 540.

Ali is a Bomb Scenario map from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive . It takes place in a Mediterranean village. The map was submitted to the Steam Workshop by Squad on June 16, 2013 and was part of Operation Bravo from September 19, 2013 to January 20, 2014 . This brought the map into the official CS map canon.

The GSG 9 of the Federal Police (Grenzschutzgruppe 9) is a German anti-terrorist unit composed of Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The unit is one of the four classic counter-terrorist units in the series and appears in all official offshoots.

CS:GO

CS:GO Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO for short) is a computer game from the genre of online tactical shooters. It was developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment and is the fourth part of the Counter-Strike series. The game was released on August 21, 2012 for Windows, Linux, macOS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A release for the PlayStation 3 in Europe failed to materialize for unknown reasons. Global Offensive achieved a Metascore of 83 points. Since September 14, 2017, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has also been available in China via the Perfect World client. In December 2018, the game was switched to a free-to-play model, which drew criticism.
