Team Information:

Winstrike is a CIS multi-gaming organization. Winstrike is a well-known organization both in the CIS and beyond, primarily due to its composition in key disciplines.

We present to you the history of Winstrike CSGO division.

First impression
Winstrike appeared on the professional CSGO scene only in 2018. Although it is quite late by the standards of the sport, the organization decided to enter the TOP with the signing of the promising Quantum Bellator Fire team, and the first list included:

– – balbIna

– Kvik

– waterfaLLZ

– jmqa

– BoombI4

Although played, but not yet to be experienced, the players were waiting for more tests. They started literally right after the signing of the contracts.

– Season 2018 and first results
The first tournament for Winstrike was the ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018 – Europe. There the team didn’t show a very confident performance and finished only 7th-8th, but at the next championship Winstrike redeemed itself.

In June 2018, Winstrike won M.Game # 2, the first tournament won by the newly formed team. Later, the team finished 3-4th at the Thunderpick Invitational # 2 and 5-6th at the QIWI TEAM PLAY – Season 1.

Winstrike wins another small tournament in July. This time the team managed to reach the championship at Legend Series: Europe # 5 – Online Stage. However, good opening results quickly made bad place.

At ESEA – Season 28: Advanced Division – Europe, the team finished 17th to 32nd, which can hardly be called a successful result. After that, the team will finish 5th-6th in Fusion.bet Masters II and 3-4th in MID.TV Cyber Cup.

In July, the team also fails to qualify for StarSeries & i-League CS: GO – Season 6 from Europe.

In August, Winstrike finished 2nd at the BravoBet Cup, after which they actively prepared for the London Major.

In September, Winstrike competes at FACEIT Major: London 2018, but is completely defeated there, finishing in 15th-16th place. Obviously, the unsatisfactory result led to dramatic changes in the composition.

BalbIna, Kvik, waterfaLLZ and jmqa are sent to the bench. Later Kvik returned to the squad and two more slots were filled by n0rb3r7 and WorldEdit.

Winstrike played in this lineup until the end of the – Season , but the team could not boast of significant results. For example, the team finished 3rd in the qualifiers for WESG 2018 Russian by OMEN, 17th-32nd in the qualifiers for DreamHack Open Winter, and 9th-12th in StarSeries & i-League CS: GO – Season 7. Nevertheless, the team managed to win the qualifiers for CIS Minor Championship – Katowice 2019, which lit up the end of the – Season .

– Season 2019 and try to find your game
The next – Season began with an appearance at the CIS Minor Championship – Katowice 2019. The entire Winstrike tournament went quite confidently, but in the semifinals they lost to Team Spirit and were eliminated from the championship in the 3rd row.

However, the team managed to make it to Katowice – Major 2019 through Intel Extreme Masters XIII – Katowice – Major 2019: Minor 3rd Place Replay-In.

Before the major tournament itself, Winstrike ranked 9th-10th on WePlay! Save & Download.

Intel Extreme Masters XIII – Katowice Major 2019 went even worse than London 2018. In Katowice, Winstrike showed no games and left the championship in the 17th-19th row. After a disastrous performance in the Major, Winstrike finished 15th-16th in the qualification for the 7th ECS – Season , which contributed to the changes in the lineup. WayLander left the team and Bondik took his place.

The local roaster replacement contributed to a short-term improvement in results. The team finished 2nd at LOOT.BET/CS – Season 1, 7-8 at GG.BET Sydney Invitational, 5th at WePlay! Forge of Masters – Season 1: Regular – Season .

In May, the team won the Olsztyn Offline Qualifier of the 2019 GG League, after which the leader BoombI4 left Winstrike for NAVI. The deceased player’s place was taken by Edward.

Winstrike played with the renewed squad until September 2019, during which time the team played in several small , finishing in the “middle” places. CS.Money Premier stands out from a large list, where Winstrike took 2nd place, DreamHack Open Summer 2019, where Winstrike took 7th-8th place, Good Game League 2019 and 7th-8th place.

In August, the team took the 3-4th line at the GG.Bet New York Invitational, but failed to qualify for BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019 and ECS – Season 8.

In September 2019, another reshuffle began at Winstrike. First, the team Edward left, after which n0rb3r7 went to the bench. The places of the deceased players were taken by KrizzeN and Lack1. Hobbit joined the band a little later.

By the end of the year, Winstrike managed to finish 2nd in the updated list at WESG 2019 in Central Asia: Kazakhstan and 2nd at LOOT.BET/CS – Season 5. However, the team failed to qualify for Intel Extreme Masters XIV – World Championship, which was certainly a priority tournament.

Trials continue or – Season 2020
In 2020, Winstrike distinguished itself with a large number of tournaments played, but did well only in some cases.

At the beginning of the year, the team failed to qualify for the second Intel Extreme Masters XIV – World Championship and failed to qualify for DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020.

The team also failed to prove itself worthy of the Flashpoint – Season 1 qualifiers. A series of mistakes was interrupted by the victory in the closed CIS qualifiers for the CIS Small Championship – Rio 2020. Unfortunately, the triumph was short-lived.

In May, the team finished 5th-8th at LOOT.BET/CS – Season 6, 13th-16th at #HomeSweetHome: Week 5, and 7th-8th at the BLAST Premier CIS Cup. However, in the same May, the team managed to finish 2nd at ESL One: Road to Rio – CIS.

In July, Hobbit left the team and became a Free Agent, and NickelBack took his place. By the end of the year, Winstrike continued to appear in various tournaments, but the results were still poor.

In August, the team held a series of unsuccessful tournaments, finishing 9th-12th in Eden Arena: Malta Vibes – Week 6 and 13th-16th in Eden Arena: Malta Vibes – Week 7. Funspart ULTI 2020 also featured 13th-16th – Europe and 5th-8th in Eden Arena: Malta Vibes – Week 9.

Winstrike won the championship in September for the first time in years. This time the team won the 6th – Season of the Legend Series. However, the team later failed to win Nine to Five – No. 4 , where they finished 9th to 12th and the qualifier for Intel Extreme Masters XV – Beijing Online.

The end of 2020 was positive. Winstrike finished 3rd in ESEA – Season 35: Advanced Division – Europe, 3rd to 4th in Cyber.Bet Golden League and won in Dell Gaming League Russia.

Also at the end of the year Winstrike decided to change the lineup. Bondik and KrizzeN left the squad and Krad and Forester took their place.

In 2021, the team finished 5th-8th at the Vulkan Fight Series and 9th-12th at Snow Sweet Snow # 1
