2013
On January 13, LDLC entered the CS: GO scene of esports and signed the former team eXtensive!, Consisting of Happy, Maniac, apEX, MaT and atLaNtis. Later, Sf replaced MaT and kennyS took the place of atLaNtis. In August, LDLC disbanded its team, as the team’s only success was 3rd-4th place at DreamHack Summer 2013. For this result LDLC received a cash prize of 3,850 USD.
2014
On February 2, LDLC announced a new French roster that included Happy, Uzzziii, Maniac, apEX, and KQLY. In July, the team finished first at DreamHack Valencia 2014, beating Epsilon eSports in the final 2: 1. In September, the team disbands and Happy creates Mercenary along with NBK-, shox, kioShiMa and SmithZz. Two days later, the mercenary joins LDLC and wins SLTV StarSeries X, Hitbox Arena Championship III and DreamHack Winter 2014 within two months.
2015
In January, the team won FACEIT G2A.com I Europe and MLG Aspen Invitational 2015, and in February, the CS: GO roster was sold to Team EnVyUs.
In late February and early March, LDLC signed two rosters, Awsomniac and Platinium. They were renamed LDLC White and LDLC Blue, respectively.
2016
In the absence of impressive results, LDLC announced the end of their collaboration with two CS: GO rosters in April, and two weeks later they signed a new five. In 2016, the French were able to participate in many championships, but only two more or less good successes can be mentioned: Victory at ESL Championnat National – Summer 2016 and the second place at eSports World Convention 2016. For the victory at ESL Championnat the team received ~ $5,750 and for the second place at eSports World Convention $15,000.
2017
In February, LDLC announced an update to their squad to play in the ESL Pro League with two new players: Maniac and xms. Throughout the year, the total earnings of the CS: GO squad could not exceed $70,000, and the best achievement of the French this year was the victory at the Esports World Convention 2017 – Paris Games Week. For the first place at this event, LDLC players received a cash prize of ~29,100 USD.
2018
Earlier this year, the French organization announced a reshuffle in its composition. Krav changed from coach to analyst and Ozstrik3r became the new coach of the team. In February and May, LDLC added three players: logaN, AmaNek and devoduvek. They replaced the late Ex6TenZ and DEVIL, as well as the retired Maniac.
In 2018, LDLC became champions in events such as PMU Challenge 2018, Fusion.bet Masters II, ESL Pro European Championship 2018, and ESL Championnat National – Winter 2018. In November, LDLC made it to the top 20 in CS according to HLTV: GO squad.org ranked 12th in the world.
CS:GO
CS:GO Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO for short) is a computer game from the genre of online tactical shooters. It was developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment and is the fourth part of the Counter-Strike series. The game was released on August 21, 2012 for Windows, Linux, macOS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A release for the PlayStation 3 in Europe failed to materialize for unknown reasons. Global Offensive achieved a Metascore of 83 points. Since September 14, 2017, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has also been available in China via the Perfect World client. In December 2018, the game was switched to a free-to-play model, which drew criticism.
