Team Information:

Ghost is a North American esports organization known for its Gears of War team. They ventured into the scene originally in April 2017 by acquiring Bee’s Money Crew, who were already competing in the Esports Championship Series at the time, whilst also competing for a spot in ESL Pro which they would successfully qualify for – Season 6 over Rush.

2017
In mid-April, Ghost Gaming signed Bee’s Money Crew, which included esports players such as seb, neptune, WARDELL, CoNnOrRr93, and ShoT_UP, as well as bee-1os- as a coach. At the end of May, ShoT_UP left the team because he could not join the players in their team house. In mid-July, Ghost Gaming kicked out all remaining players except WARDELL. In mid-August, Ghost assembled a new squad for the sixth – Season of ESL Pro League, which included CoNnOrRr93, Ryx, Dallas, Zqk, and Neptune, as well as Bee-1os- as coach and Sancz as reserve player. A month later, zqk and sancz left the band and WARDELL took their place. In November, Dallas left the squad and was replaced by the team’s coach, bee-1os-. Later, Ryx ended his partnership with Ghost Gaming and bee-1os left the starting lineup to pursue higher education, but remained with the organization as a manager. For the entire year, Ghost received only four achievements: 7th-8th place at ESEA – Season 24: Global Challenge, 2nd place at CEVO – Season 12 – NA Main, 3rd-4th place at CyberPowerPC Extreme Gaming Series – Spring 2017 Invitational, and 13th place at ESL Pro League – Season 6 – North America. In total, the American-Canadian squad earned $14,500 for the year.

2018
In January, MAiNLiNE joined the team as a coach. In February, Ghost signed Subroza and stan1ey. In March, vSa replaced CoNnOrRr93 and became the team leader in the game. stan1ey returned to the UK to take a break from the game. In May, MAiNLiNE and Ghost Gaming parted ways. In June, Ghost signed Torqued’s trio of Pollo, Stahl, and Koosta and JamezIRL as coaches. In July, seb, vSa and Pollo were released from their contractual obligations as players and became free agents. In August, Ghost Gaming hired kRYSTAL from The Imperial for the 2018 ZOTAC Cup Masters and DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018. In September, after kRYSTAL returned to The Imperial Ghost signed neptune, who incidentally was already playing on the team. 2018 was a more successful year for Ghost than the previous year and the team earned more than $60,000 this year.

Interesting fact: together with the rented kRYSTAL Ghost they received the biggest cash prize in the history of the team. The player helped the team to a 3-4 place finish at the 2018 ZOTAC Cup Masters, making the Ghost cash prize for that $20,000.
