Team Information:
FURIA Esports is a Brazilian organization known for its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. Despite the young age of the club, the players of the squads managed to make themselves known and helped the organization to become famous in the professional environment.
We present to you the history of the team’s CSGO unit.
First impression
They first heard about FURIA relatively recently, by eSports standards. The first appearance of the Brazilians took place in 2017. In August 2017, the organization was formed and the first composition included:
spacca
prd
Guerri
caike
VINI
With this lineup, FURIA began performing at small local tournaments. These included Gamers Liga Profissional: August 2017, Experience League 2017, Gamers Club Liga Profissional: September 2017 and others.
At such championships, FURIA showed itself well: in the mentioned competitions, the club took second place.
However, the organization’s ambitions were much higher than the prizes at the local championships. In order to achieve greater success, the composition has been changed. The first to be cut was caike, which was replaced with bld V. This happened in October, and a month later yurrih replaced prd.
With this composition, FURIA entered 2018.
2018 and the search for the optimal composition
Since January 2018, FURIA has been actively experimenting with the composition and continues to look for the best option. In January, VINI leaves the team and s1 takes his place. A little later, in February, bld V leaves the team and the recently arrived s1. That same February, VINi returned to the main roster along with kscerato and arT.
FURIA will continue to play with this line-up until October 2018. During this time, the team managed to visit many championships. Brightest performances include winning Aorus League – Brazil: Finals – – Season 1, runner-up in ESEA – Season 27: Open Division – Brazil and winning ESL LA League – Season 1.
FURIA also won GG.BET Ascensao, Aourus League – Invitational and ESL Brazil Premier League – Season 5.
The series of good results was interrupted in August 2018. First, FURIA placed 7th-8th at Americas Minor Champioship – London 2018, after which they lost the qualifiers at MSI Masters Gaming Arena 2018. This was followed by failure in qualifiers for EPICENTER 2018, TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok 2018 and ECS – Season 5.
Such performances led to changes in the composition. Spacca was removed from the base and ablej took his place. In this composition FURIA until September 2019.
