Speech ban
In February 2014, S1mple was banned by the tournament operator ESL. The reason for the ban was suspicion of cheats and third-party software. ESL banned a beginner from participating in their tournaments. Alexander should not appear at ESL championships for 2 years.
Such a blow could destroy the further Esports fate of s1mple, as the situation was resolved. Several Esports organizations approached ESL with a request to lift all of Alexander’s restrictions and allow him to continue to wow fans with his game. After reviewing the situation, ESL lifted the ban and S1mple continued to play.

True, the break was not long and after a few days Alexander started performing for the Evolution team. But even in this team s1mple didn’t stay long and became a free agent a month later. Real recognition and the first awards came with the player’s move to North America

With “liquid”, Alexander finished second at ESL ONE: Cologne 2016, and s1mple also received a “named” graffiti on the cache map for his performance in Cologne. Despite good results and a successful performance with Team Liquid, Alexander left the team in the summer of 2016. In August, the player returned to Kiev, where he signed a contract with Na`Vi.
