Marcelo “Coldzera” David – one of the most prominent representatives of the Brazilian counter-strike. Marcelo has repeatedly become the best player. During his long career he also became the champion of prestigious world-class tournaments. Carier Start
Like many others, Marcelo started playing computer games at a young age. Even at a young age, he showed outstanding skills. It is not surprising that Marcelo soon decided to connect his future with competitive computer games, especially Counte-Strike.
The first band to play with Coldzera was vTi. After a short stay, Marcelo began to change clubs. After vTi, he managed to play for Brazilian Insight, Infernus Gaming and GamerHouse. In April 2013, the player sided with Afterall Gaming, for which his future teammate fer had previously played. Coldzera did not achieve significant results there and continued to search for the team. The player left Afterall Gaming and joined SemXorah. But even there, the player could not reach the heights of a competitive Counter-Strike. After SemXorah, the player moved to GoldenGlory, after which he became a Baixissimo Nivel player. There Coldzera could not achieve high results either. The player’s next club was the skill team. After 11 months at DT, Coldzera moved to Luminosity Gaming.
First success
Luminosity Gaming has become a starting point for the player. As a result, Coldzera’s team became the world champion for the first time. Marcelo played as Luminosity and became the triumph of MLG Major Championship World Championship: Columbus 2016 and the champion of the prestigious tournament ESL Pro League – Season 3 – Finals. Although the results were more than satisfactory, the player together with his teammates decided to change the organization. Marcelo’s new home is the German organization SK Gaming
SK Gaming and MIBR
Marcelo went to SK Gaming and only strengthened his position. In July 2016, he again became the world champion at ESL One: Cologne 2016 and also became the champion of 5 other major tournaments. After two years with SK Gaming, Coldzera moved to MIBR.
After the transition to the Brazilian organization, the results deteriorated. Together with the team, Marcelo became a champion only once at the 2018 ZOTAC Cup Masters. In September 2019, Coldzera became inactive, after which he became a FaZe Clan player
FaZe Clan and personal rewards.
With the transition to the European composition of Superstars, Coldzera began to sparkle with new colors. He helped the team become the champion of the Blast Pro Series: Copenhagen 2019.
During his eventful career, Marcelo has won prize money of over 980,000 USD. In addition, the player has repeatedly received personal awards. In 2016 and 2017, he twice became the best player in the world, according to HLTV. At The Game Awards 2016, he was also named the best e-sportsman of 2016. In the same year, he received the title of Best PC Player of the Year, according to eSports Industry. Marcelo became MVP 8 times, including two major tournaments. Marcelo is rightly considered one of the best players in the history of Counter-Strike.
CS:GO
CS:GO Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO for short) is a computer game from the genre of online tactical shooters. It was developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment and is the fourth part of the Counter-Strike series. The game was released on August 21, 2012 for Windows, Linux, macOS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A release for the PlayStation 3 in Europe failed to materialize for unknown reasons. Global Offensive achieved a Metascore of 83 points. Since September 14, 2017, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has also been available in China via the Perfect World client. In December 2018, the game was switched to a free-to-play model, which drew criticism.
