Biography

Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov is a professional player of Bulgarian origin playing in the Americas region. CeRq is one of the most promising young players who has already reached extraordinary heights. We present to you the path to becoming CeRq as an esports player.

The beginning of your career
Like most e-sports players, CeRq spent a lot of time competing in computer games from a young age. Even then, it was clear that this player had great potential. Not surprisingly, computer games later became a real job for CeRq.

The first club that CeRq played for was the Bulgarian mix WinFiction. CeRq played with him in small regional tournaments, but he did not show special results. In June 2016, the player joined Outlaws.

In Outlaws CeRq spent just over a year. He steadily improved his game performance by winning small tournaments. With Outlaws, he won CEVO – Season 12 – Europe Main, ESL South East Europe Championship – Season 5, DolpinCS.org Shoot Em’Up – No. 3 and other small tournaments. However, the main thing CeRq has gained from appearing in such championships is recognition and experience.

In October 2017, he was spotted by the organization NRG Esports.

NRG Esports and first success
As an NRG Esports player, CeRq reached a new level in competitive Counter-Strike. He was now competing in high caliber championships with the best teams in the world.

It didn’t take long to see the first result. In June 2018, CeRq and his team finished second at StarSeries & i-League – Season 5 and 3-4th place at Esports Championship Series – Season 5 – Finals. Two months later, CeRq won his first prestigious tournament – Intel Extreme Masters XIII – Shanghai.

The team secured a successful summer with a victory at cs_summit 3. At the beginning of 2019, the team started to decline, but made a comeback in July 2019 with a victory at Americas Minor Chapmpionship – Berlin 2019. In September 2019, the team placed 3-4 at the Berlin Major. It was not a defeat.

In the same month, CeRq accepted an invitation from Evil Geniuses and became an Evil Geniuses player.

EC and personal achievements
After moving to EG, CeRq immediately won a major championship – ESL One: New York 2019. A month later, the team won the StarSeries & i-League CS:GO – Season 8. In early 2020, the score easily dropped for EG, but returned to the top during the Pandemic and Online Championships. In June 2020, they became champions of the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals, and in August they won ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online – North America.

During his career, CeRq has already managed to enter the top 20 players according to HLTV in 2019, ranking 18th. CeRq has already collected over $360,000 in prize money.

CS:GO

CS:GO Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO for short) is a computer game from the genre of online tactical shooters. It was developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment and is the fourth part of the Counter-Strike series. The game was released on August 21, 2012 for Windows, Linux, macOS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A release for the PlayStation 3 in Europe failed to materialize for unknown reasons. Global Offensive achieved a Metascore of 83 points. Since September 14, 2017, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has also been available in China via the Perfect World client. In December 2018, the game was switched to a free-to-play model, which drew criticism.
