“The battle standard of the Bronze Legion flutters at the top. Tresdin’s promise to avenge their destroyed city.”
— Description
Legacy of the Fallen Legion is a cosmetic item for Legion Commander from Dota 2 that can be worn on the ‘Back’ position. The cosmetic was released on July 12, 2016, as part of Battle Pass – The International 2016, and was loosely promoted with the ‘Spearhead’ comic released at the same time. Due to its exclusivity, it was called Prestige Item.
Function
When equipped, the item makes Legion Commander appear in the game with a large standard and golden glowing standard on her back. When Legion Commander uses her Press the Attack ability, the standard puffs up and becomes a pair of glowing wings. Also, the icon of the ability is modified.
Furthermore, it is possible to unlock the “Chaotic” style in addition to the default “Hell” style when completing the Fallen Legion path. The additional style makes the cosmetic and its effects appear darker.
Obtaining
Legacy of the Fallen Legion was only available to owners of the Battle Pass to ‘The International 2016’ tournament, as it is neither tradable nor marketable. To obtain the item, you had to bring the pass to level 225.

- The name and description text of the Immortal refer to the Legion Commander biography, which tells about the downfall of the Bronze Legion, in which the hero Underlord is involved.
- If you completed the path, you also received an in-game message that clearly refers to Underlord.
- With the Arcana Blades of Voth Domosh, Legacy of the Fallen Legion has an additional idle animation.

Dota 2
Dota 2 is – unlike other big MOBA titles like League of Legends – free to play with all heroes. However, game items can be purchased in the Dota 2 store, but all of them have no effect on the gameplay. Only cosmetic items like different skins for the heroes can be purchased. Just like in Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Portal 2, it is possible to create your own content via the Steam Workshop.
Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena title from Valve. The successor to the extremely popular Warcraft 3 modification DotA (Defense of the Ancients), Dota 2 was the company’s first strategy game and was released on the download platform Steam on July 9, 2013. The game is a free-to-play title that can be played completely free of charge and is financed through in-game microtransactions, similar to Team Fortress 2.
