Kindred of the Iron Dragon is a cosmetic item for Dragon Knight from Dota 2, which he can wear on the ‘Elder Dragon Form’ position. The item was created by Valve and distributed to owners of The International Compendium 2014. It was released on May 30, 2014.
Function
The item replaces the Dragon Knights Ultimate dragon model, as well as its icon and sound. All three levels of the Ultimate have their usual color. The sound and the effect of the second Dragon Tail ability are also changed. This model has no effect on the gameplay, but the item itself will be distributed with a Gem.
Obtaining
The item can be obtained randomly from the Immortal Strongbox. No key is needed to open it. However, the chest was only given to owners of ‘The International 2014’ compendium whose compendium is at least level 10. The number of chests received also depends on the level of that. Kindred of the Iron Dragon, like Hellborn Grasp, is distributed less frequently than the other Immortal treasures and can be obtained as a bonus.
