Pokémon GO: Community Day in December 2021 – All Pokémon with exclusive attacks.
What’s up for grabs? In the – Season of the origin of Pokémon GO, the beginnings of the game are highlighted by Niantic. Included are the Pokémon of all Community Days since 2020. This action is always in December and during the event, the Pokémon learn the exclusive attacks that you could otherwise only get on the respective Community Day. To do this, you have to bring the respective Pokémon to its last evolution level during the event. Otherwise it does not learn the exclusive attack.
The monsters from the Community Days in 2021, that is, from January to November, can be encountered more often in the wild. With all of Evoli’s evolutions, this brings the total number of Pokémon in focus to 29. The Pokémon from 2020 can be found in Raid battles and eggs. This way, you can look for the monsters that are particularly worthwhile even more precisely. In addition, there are again some bonuses for the event:
- Smoke lasts for three hours
- Lure modules hold for three hours
- Hatching distance halved when you place an egg in an incubator at the event
- Double Catch XP
- Double Fang Stardust
When is the community day? On Saturday, December 18 (11am to 5pm), and Sunday, December 19 (11am to 5pm), you can find the 22 different monsters. All further information about the Community Day in December 2021 has niantic on the official Pokémon GO blog published.
Pokémon GO: Community Day December 2021 – These attacks are absolutely necessary.
Rihornior with Rock Thrower: Rihornior is a solid choice for PVP and PVE even without the exclusive attack. But with Rock Launcher, Rihornior becomes the best rock attacker in the game – especially in Raid battles. Many strong Fire Pokémon can pack it in if you get a full team of Rockcaster Rihorniors at Community Day in December 2021.
Knackrack with Earth Powers: Also worth mentioning is Knackrack with earth powers. This gives you a very strong ground attacker, even though Knackrack is otherwise more often played with dragon attacks. You can get great advantages in raids and PVP leagues with the exclusive attack.
Rihornior | Rock thrower (rock) | Best rock attacker in raids | Very useful (but also other attacks well) |
Knackrack | Earth forces (ground) | extremely strong ground attacker in raids | Very useful (partly better than earthquake) |
Pokémon GO: Community Day December 2021 – These attacks are extremely good in PVP
Garados with Wet Tail: You should only keep an eye on Garados with Wet Tail if you are in Hyper League and Master League. While the attack and Pokémon are extremely strong in combination, better alternatives can be found in Raid battles. If you want to use it in PVP, you are on the safe side with Wet Tail.
Roserade with Meteorologist: When you evolve Roselia into Roserade, it gains the attacks Bullet Seed and Meteorologist at the event. Especially Meteorologist is interesting for Roserade, because the attack here is of the type Fire. In PVP, many players don’t expect a Roserade to have a fire attack, so you can gain an extreme advantage. However, raid bosses are less interested in this trick.
Feelinara with Psycho Shock: Feelinara is extremely good in all leagues. Pokémon with the Charm attack are always popular there. Psycho Shock gives Feelinara an extremely fast charge attack that can make a big difference. If you didn’t get Feelinara at Community Day with Evoli, now you get another chance at this extremely important PVP Pokémon.
Altaria with Moon Power: You should definitely get an Altaria with Lunar Force if you want to get ahead in PVP. Moon Power is Altaria’s strongest charge attack and even beats Dragon Pulse despite the STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus). Eventually, Mega Pokémon will be available in PVP, so you’ll have even more advantages with Mega Altaria.
Garados | Wet Tail (Water) | not really useful | other attacks are good, but wet tail outperforms many movesets |
Roserade | Meteorologist (Fire) | not really useful | many options, meteorologist is a must |
Feelinara | Psycho Shock (Psycho) | not really useful | Psycho shock is an absolute must |
Altaria | Lunar Force (Fairy) | not really useful | Upgrade for existing options, extremely good monster |
Pokémon GO: Community Day December 2021 – These attacks are half worth it.
Fiaro with Incinerate: With the Incinerate attack, Fiaro becomes one of the best Fire Pokémon in PVP. If you enjoy fighting other Trainer:ins, you should definitely own a Fiaro with this attack. However, the problem is that Fiaro can reach a maximum WP of 2493, so you will need a particularly strong specimen to take full advantage of it.
Glurak with Fire Ember: It might be worthwhile to get hold of a Glurak with Fire Odem on Community Day. For one thing, Mega Glurak X is Dragon type, so this attack still gets STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus). But you can also grow an extremely strong Pokémon in the PVP League in combination with the exclusive attack from 2018, Lohekanonade. We have a list of Pokémon that are just about worth the exclusive attacks here:
Fiaro (PvP) | Incinerate (Fire) | Not useful | Attack necessary in PVP |
Glurak (PvP) | Fire Odem (Dragon) | Mega Glurak X very good, but not necessary | Good moveset but there are better options |
Gengar (PvP) | Sinister Fist (Ghost) | not useful | Attack necessary in PVP |
Machomei (PvP) | Counterattack (Unlight) | Not useful | Good option for psycho monster, stone hail still better |
Luxtra (PvP) | Psycho Biter (Psycho) | not useful | slight improvement, there are other good options |
Night Macaw (PvP) | Psychokinesis (Psycho) | not useful | Good for type coverage, refuge still better |
Psiana (PvP) | Haunted Ball (Ghost) | not useful | Good for type coverage, refuge still better |
Admurai (PvP and PvE) | Aqua Howitzer (Water) | not useful, but playable with aqua howitzer | Only really strong with aqua howitzer |
Impoleon (PvP and PvE) | Aqua Howitzer (Water) | not useful, but playable with aqua howitzer | Attack necessary in PVP |
Simsala (PvP) | Counter (Combat) | not useful | Improvement in PVP, can work |
Tengulist (PvP) | Bullet Seed (Plant) | not useful | Usually better with telling, but ball seed can be good |
Serpiroyal (PvP) | Flora statue (plant) | not useful | Attack necessary in PVP |
Pokémon GO: Community Day December 2021 – Attacks you should stay away from
Glaziola with Aquawave: Glaziola isn’t a bad Pokémon for Pokémon GO’s PVP Leagues and Raids, but that strength doesn’t come from the Community Day attack. Ice Storm and Avalanche are definitely stronger attacks to make life difficult for your opponents, so you should refrain from evolving your Evoli into Glaziola on Community Day in December 2021.
Porygon-Z with Triplette: While Porygon-Z can be quite strong in Hyper and Super League with Lightning Cannon, it is still outclassed by Porygon 2. The pre-evolution has a higher defense value and learns Tripplette (ironically) even without a Community Day. If you want to use Porygon-Z in PVP, then you should refrain from using the variant on Community Day in December 2021. We’ll show you other Pokémon that you can safely skip.
Glaziola | Aquawave (Water) | not useful | not useful |
Porygon-Z | Triplette (Normal) | not useful | Good attack, but still not good in PVP |
Magbrand | Thunderbolt (Electric) | Not useful | bad even with thunderbolt |
Elevoltek | Flame Throw (Fire) | Not useful | not useful |
Zwirrfinst | Haunted Ball (Ghost) | not useful | not useful |
Blitza | Lightning Gun (Electric) | not useful | not useful |
Flamara | Power Colossus (Combat) | not useful | Upgrade but still bad |
Aquana | Boiling water (water) | Not useful | Upgrade but still bad |
Bibor | Percussion drill (floor) | not useful | strong upgrade but better options |
Folipurba | Ball seed (plant) | not useful | not useful |
Flambirex | Lohe Cannonade (Fire) | not useful | not useful |
Pokémon GO: Community Day December 2021 – The best exclusive attacks.
In a nutshell: As you can see, not many Pokémon are blessed with strong attacks, and on top of that, most Pokémon can only play to their advantage in PVP. If you are more into Raids, we recommend that you only really evolve the best of the best Pokémon and focus on Rihornior and Knackrack.
If you like to fight in PVP League, many monsters from the second list can also be beneficial. You’ll get some varied combatants with the exclusive Community Day 2021 attacks that can surprise your opponents. While you’re at it, be sure to check out all the details about the Johto Tour in Pokémon GO and prepare accordingly.
