  • Killstreak: Automatic gun
  • Mode: Payload mode with 2 teams
  • Event: Blueprint Blitz lets you chase Cosmetics
  • Weapons: OTs 9 submachine gun and “mace” melee weapon.

MeinMMO explains the individual announcements and shows you the download roadmap. We include the new roadmap here for you:

info about the mid – Season update – download & pre-load

When is the Mid– Season -Update coming? The content will be unlocked on July 15. The blog post about the mid– Season update remains a bit vague here (via callofduty.com). Possible would be a release at 9 am, but also in the evening around 6 or 7 pm.

Is there a pre-load? The developers announce a pre-load that should start in our time zone from 6am on July 15. However, Warzone pre-loads have been rather unreliable lately – some players have been able to start the download, while others have not. We’ll keep you updated at MeinMMo.

How big is the update? The developers have also published information about the download sizes:

Warzone Mid– Season Update

  • PlayStation 4: 8.9 GB
  • Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S: 9.2 GB
  • Xbox One: 9.2 GB

What is this new killstreak? Warzone gets an automatic gun. With the new killstreak, you set up a gun that takes fire at enemies within range. The gun operates at an angle of approximately 180° and remains stationary for just under a minute before it disappears with a harmless explosion.

An exciting killstreak that brings new, tactical possibilities to the game. However, the gun is part of the rare loot and after the release you can only find the killstreak in the loot rooms of the “Red Door” system.

What can the new mode do? With the “Payload” mode, a vehicle mode comes into play once again. Two teams with 20 players each compete against each other and try to either destroy the Payload vehicles or bring them to the finish line. Respawns are not limited and you have your loadouts right at the start.

The developers cite the “War” mode of CoD: WWII, the 2017 CoD, as inspiration. Back then, there was an attack team and a defense team and the attackers had to take checkpoints and advance step by step. Payload is also supposed to work with checkpoints – the attackers are supposed to bring several vehicles to the checkpoints on the map and the defenders get in the way.

More on how the new Payload mode works here:

CoD Warzone gets a new mode and it works very differently from

What is Blueprint Blitz? These are small events, similar to Double XP events, that run for a limited period of time and add a little twist to the game. If a “Blueprint Blitz” event is running, then a contraband order will spawn after every 2nd completed order during a match.

With the contraband you can secure a lot of cash for your match, but also bag weapon skins. What’s special during the Blitz event is that the Contraband orders also provide you with weapon skins from previous – Season s. If you missed out on a weapon skin from the contraband orders, you will get the chance to pick up the weapon skin during the events.

It is not yet known when the first Blueprint Blitz event will take place.

What are these new weapons? Two new weapons are coming into play for the mid– Season : the OTs 9 submachine gun and the mace melee weapon. Judging by the description on the blog, the OTs 9 could become an alternative to the Bullfrog, with smaller magazines but a higher rate of fire. The OTs 9 also takes on the powerful headshots of the Bullfrog.

The Mace is another brutal melee alternative for the Warzone. In multiplayer, the metal mace is meant to wipe your enemies off the map with one blow and is reminiscent of the baseball bat. Similar to the baseball bat, the mace is also expected to be used in Warzone. The mace will be added to Warzone in the course of the mid– Season .

What else is there to know? Besides the concrete announcements, the developers hold out the prospect of changes for the “Red Doors” – but remain vague. As with the presentation at the start of the – Season , there is only a short text with redacted parts:

“Brave operators have been going through the Red Doors all over Verdansk and entering unknown areas… New information indicates that these Red Doors are [[ANONYMISIERT]]appear and send you to [[ANONYMISIERT]]bring. Since there are still many Perseus sleeper cells in Verdansk, we warn you about [[ANONYMISIERT]].”

According to this, there could be new locations for the red doors and something has also changed at the destination point. However, we will probably only know after the release how the innovations look concretely.

Warzone is setting a much faster pace in Year 2 than it did last year and continues to show commitment with the mid– Season update. However, the best content can hardly hide the current biggest problem in Warzone: The cheater flood.

Armies Call of Duty – SDC

The Strategic Defense Coalition, or SDC for short, is a faction from Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It is based in the East of Asia and is made up of mostly Chinese military personnel. Depending on how the player behaves in the single-player campaign, Iran, Russia, India and Afghanistan can become members of the association. Alternatively, the SDC can join with the US and NATO to stop Raul Menendez.

Heroes Call of Duty – Booth (World at War)

Captain Booth is the name of the aircraft pilot of the American fighter PBY Catalina “Mantaray” .He appears in Call of Duty: World at War during the Black Cats mission. Booth and Harrington were good friends because the latter is quite sad when his comrade’s plane is shot down.

Weapons Call of Duty-AK-47

The AK-47 is a Russian Sturmgewehr, which has been around since 1947. They are very common in single player, as both OpFor and Ultranationalists use them as their main weapon. The AK-47 has a high rate of fire, high damage, is quite accurate but has a very high recoil. You can occasionally find them with a grenade launcher.

Games Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a 2009 first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is the sixth installment in the Call of Duty series and the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It was released worldwide on November 10, 2009, for Microsoft Windows, the PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. A separate version for the Nintendo DS, titled Modern Warfare: Mobilized, was also released on the same day. Maps Call of Duty – Berlin Wall

Berlin Wall is a multiplayer map from the First Strike DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops. Berlin Wall (Berliner Mauer) is a medium-sized map set in snowy Germany, reflecting the Berlin Wall and containing, among other things, the so-called death strip, where indestructible turrets fire at the player should he set foot on the forbidden zone. To make its danger clear, the no-man’s land was drawn in red on the mini-map. In the middle of the no man’s land, a small path leads through so that you can reach both sides of the map. Berlin Wall is a great place to camp, snipe and fight from a distance. For snipers, the map is a paradise, as there are many windows and holes in the buildings, from which you can even see over the whole map. On one side of the map there is a small Allied checkpoint, with security buildings and tanks. The no man’s land can be a quick escape route if you’re smart, but you’ll always face the automatic gun turrets. The only way to get through without being shot at is to use smoke grenades.

Camouflage Call of Duty – Sahara Desert camouflage

Sahara is slightly based on desert camouflage. It was named after a large desert located in the northern part of Africa. In Black Ops II, she does not appear in multiplayer, only in the campaign.

Fraction Call of Duty – Africa militia

The Africa Militia is an amalgamation of two factions (the PRF and some middlemen from Africa).
