What kind of set is it?

In a leak at the end of January, another bundle with skins for the anime Attack on Titan was announced for Cod Warzone and Vanguard. Since February 10, we can finally see the skins as a preview in the game.

This time it is an “armored titan”. Titans are the creepy behemoths in the anime that roam the wilderness and prefer to grab and eat people. The armored titan is a particularly tough version, equipped with some sort of exoskeleton. In the game, it’s a skin for the beefy operator Roland. There’s also a wacky version of the Cooper carbine, one of the best weapons in the game at the moment.

What is Attack on Titan?

Attack on Titan is a very popular anime series. In it, humans live in an isolated city while giant titan monsters roam the wilderness. The titans love to devour humans for their lives. They, in turn, desperately fight back by brutally taking down the giants with acrobatic attacks and special blades. The series is quite complex and now has a large fan base.

Wait, wasn’t there something about Attack on Titan?

In fact, there was already a bundle for Attack on Titan (AoT). The skin was for the operator Daniel and was very badly received. He hardly resembled the underlying character from the anime and looked more like a soldier from World War 2 who would do some cosplay. But with the new skin pack, opinions are a bit different.

What are the reactions to the set?

If you look at reactions to the skin on Twitter or reddit, they are much more positive than they were for the first AoT bundle.

• This is how Mohammed Enieb of FaZe writes via Twitter: “Anime and CoD don’t usually go together, but this is going up hard.”
• ZLaner from OpTic also says up Twitter: “Holy shit, this takes Skins to a new level!”
• Top streamer TimTheTatman also says about it on Twitter just: “This is really LITTTT!”

So it seems like the community is reconciled now after the previous bundle was not well received. However, some players wonder if it still makes much sense to buy skins for Warzone when Warzone 2 is coming soon anyway.

When is the new set coming?
