The Fans of the Witcher universe truly don’t have it easy at the moment. The developer studio CD Projekt RED had already announced the role-playing game The Witcher 4 not too long ago, but until its release there will still be some numerous months drag into the country. Also – Season 3 of the Netflix series The Witcher leaves at least until 2023 will have to wait. Fortunately, there is an eager cosplay community to help pass the time. So is the well-known Costume artist Elena, who is also known by her Reddit name “astelvert”.
Ciri makes Kaer Morhen tremble
The cosplayer is by all accounts a big fan of The Witcher in general as well as from the character Ciri in particular. She had already been photographed in an appropriate costume a few months ago, now she delivers the repeatedly requested Supply. Looking at the picture becomes clear again, how much work and attention to detail she has put into her work. The cosplay as Ciri looks really good, which is mainly due to the faithfully crafted clothes and accessories. But the other aspects of the disguise are also pleasingly close to the original: the hairstyle, the makeup including the distinctive scar on the face and even the sword give the impression, a live action version of Ciri standing in front of you.
But it’s not just The Witcher 3 that “astelvert” is high on when it comes to their Passion as a cosplayer goes. In recent months she had dressed up in costumes of many other characters thrown and photographed with them. A few examples include Princess Zelda from the game series of the same name and Ashe from Overwatch.

Other Cosplayer have also taken a great liking to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In fact, hardly a week goes by without new pictures of costumes as Triss Merigold, Yennefer of Vengerberg or Geralt appearing. Also somewhat more unusual versions like a female version of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7 can be seen from time to time.
