A tournament for $110,000 took place at Call of Duty: Vanguard. Each team had to include a woman. The tournament caused a lot of excitement, because one player was kicked out of her team at short notice to make room for another woman. But she turned out to be a cheater.
What kind of tournament is this this? The tournament was the “eFuse Black Friday 110k Search and Save Tournament.” The prize money of $110,000 (€97,000) was the highest ever in Call of Duty: Vanguard, US site Dexerto informs.
The tournament had a special requirement for the team’s lineup. There were two ways teams could look:
- A female content creator, another content creator, and a current professional in the league.
- One female content creator and two other content creators

Pro invites woman, kicks her off team before takeoff
That was the drama: The 27-year-old US-American Doug “Censor” Martin put together a team as a professional and invited as a woman “ShawnJ Gaming”, a YouTuber and Twitch streamer with a focus on Call of Duty.
However, as ShanwJ shares, she was kicked out of the lineup just hours after the team stood. Censor had replaced her with a new player. He informed her of this curtly via a direct message without further explanation.
But then a clip surfaced showing the team’s new player apparently using wallhacks in a match in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (via twitter).
With that, she was exposed as a cheater.

That’s how it went on: The new player was banned from the tournament by the admins as a cheater.
- As a result, the third person from Censor’s team also jumped off and did not want to participate.
- ShawnJ Gaming laughed it off on Twitter, saying, “It’s not like anyone can believe she’s jumping back in now just because the team is going down in flames. That’s not her problem, she said.
- Censor had to put together a new team at short notice, but couldn’t pull anything off and flew out of the tournament 0-3.
That’s how it’s discussed: The pro is already getting some schadenfreude. Because he kicked ShanwJ out of the team at such short notice, but after that everything turned against him, people talk about “karma” having taken revenge here.
