What is Minecraft Legends?

Usually in Minecraft such mobs as zombies, skeletons and creepers are your enemies, but in the latest game this is no longer the case. You take the role of a fearless hero who unites all creatures and living beings to fight against evil. The Piglins from Hell are breaking through to the peaceful, bright upper world and want to make it their world, full of darkness, fire and lava. You must prevent them from doing so with the help of the unfamiliar allies.

What genre does the game serve?

Minecraft Legends is fundamentally a strategy game, but it has mechanics inspired by action games. Thus, you’ll be in the third-person perspective, riding a horse and lashing out with a sword. The strategy aspect comes out once you have to command your army of allies to fight the Piglins. In doing so, you’ll protect villagers and prevent settlements and the upper world from being destroyed by the enemies. Furthermore, you’ll have to build your own base, defend it and explore the world full of different biomes.

What does the online multiplayer look like?

In PvP, you can challenge your friends and defend your village as you go into battle with allies against them. Furthermore, you can also team up to fight evil together. It is currently unknown how many players will be able to do this at the same time.

For which consoles will the game be released?

Minecraft Legends will be released for Xbox, PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Steam, and mobile devices. Furthermore, the game will also appear in Xbox Game Pass at release.

When will Minecraft Legends be released?
