For the current occasion – GWbet celebrates its 20th anniversary – the bookmaker offers a free bet every week as a loyalty bonus. With every bet you place, you collect loyalty points for a weekly free bet. The amount of the free bet depends on the number of bets placed in the previous week and is automatically credited to your customer account at the end of each week.

If you place at least 10 bets on different events within a week, you will receive a 5€ free bet. At least 20 bets qualify for a 10€ free bet. You can get 20€ in the form of a free bet if you place at least 40 bets on different events within one week.

It is a bit of a shame that the bookmaker does not currently offer a live chat.

As far as the visual appearance is concerned, the motto “simple wins” prevails at GWbet. If you want to criticize, then you could almost call the design a bit old-fashioned or conservative for all its simplicity. It’s always a vexed topic for betting enthusiasts residing in Germany: the betting tax introduced in 2012 in the Federal Republic. Most betting providers have now switched to deducting the five-percent levy from the customer’s stake or gross profit. Not so with GWbet: According to our experience, German customers do not come into contact with the betting tax at the bookmaker. This means that a gross profit is also equal to a net profit. The topic is also not mentioned further in the T&Cs, which suggests that GWbet leaves the corresponding taxation to the customers.
