Before we come to the quality of the betting bonus in the BetAdonis test, we have to deal with the transparency. Unfortunately, the bookmaker completely omits a detailed description of the new customer offer on the website, but leaves its players out in the cold in the truest sense of the word. The following wording is very disconcerting: “The rules and conditions of receiving bonuses should be requested by the users themselves, as well as specify their changes.” It cannot be that an inexperienced new sports bettor has to compile his bonus conditions himself – how could he? We went a little deeper in the test and found at least a cross-reference to the general bonus rules of OddsMatrix Limited in the English language version of the website. (Unfortunately no link). It turned out, for example, that the rollover requirements must be met within 20 days.

The BetAdonis bonus has a maximum value of 75 euros and is calculated at 25 percent on the amount of the deposit. This “strange” value comes about due to an atypical rule of the bookie.

The rollover requirements presuppose a bonus turnover of 14 times before a withdrawal of winnings is possible. In addition, the minimum odds of 2.0 must be taken into account when playing for free, which explicitly applies in its entirety but also for the combination tips. The BetAdonis bonus can only be rolled over in the sports betting sector, a transfer to the online casino or the poker arena is prohibited.

Betting offer

The betting offer of BetAdonis makes a very good impression in terms of breadth, but according to our experience only at first glance. Overall, customers can choose from 20 disciplines, but the density in the individual categories is not particularly high – with one exception.

Soccer as far as the eye can see

King soccer dominates the BetAdonis betting program in a sensational way. On good days, the bookmaker offers over 20,000 individual bets, 98 percent of which are on the round leather. The international top leagues set the tone at this point without question. From the Champions League to the Europa League to the national championships in England, Germany, Spain or Italy, the entire high-class soccer is of course present. Furthermore, there are at least two leagues from almost every European country. The soccer betting program is rounded off by the championships from Asia, Africa and South America. The MLS from the USA may not be missing, of course. German fans can place their betting tips all the way down to the fifth-class amateur top division.

The frame sports at BetAdonis

After soccer, the usual suspects follow. Tennis, ice hockey and basketball are still very neatly represented, although in the BetAdonis test we could already determine some gaps at this point. Especially when it comes to tennis, it is noticeable that the online provider mainly focuses on the WTA and ATP tournaments. The lower-class ITF events are hardly included. The American sports should not remain unmentioned. In baseball, rugby and American football, at least the most important matches are bettable. Among the few exotics at BetAdonis are, for example, Gaelic sports and Pesäpallo.

In depth from super to underground

From sky-high jubilant to deathly sad – in the depth of betting options BetAdonis works almost with a “split” personality. In some cases, the bookie calls up to 400 special bets in selected games, but in other matches there are only ten secondary markets. In principle, it can be said that the most important soccer leagues are better equipped, but a consistency is unfortunately not yet recognizable at BetAdonis at this point. It is noticeable that many special betting options are only offered on the match day or a few hours before kick-off.

Live bets

The assessment of the pre-match area can be transferred almost 1:1 to the live center. Here, too, there’s plenty of soccer. All other sports only serve as a framework and can be neglected in the BetAdonis assessment. This even applies to such heavyweights as tennis or ice hockey.

With soccer, on the other hand, there’s absolutely no flaw. BetAdonis does not only focus on the top leagues, but tries to provide almost all current matches with real-time odds. In some cases, it goes very, very far down into the junior and amateur sectors.

Livestream

There are no pictures in the live center at BetAdonis. The online bookmaker does without streams completely. It is a pity that the betting provider does not even have a live ticker to offer. Customers who simply want to see the results of the current games will not find the information they are looking for at BetAdonis.

Odds

As with the betting program, a distinction must be made in the odds. There is soccer and the rest. When it comes to the round leather, BetAdonis works with an almost perfect odds ratio of about 95 percent. For very important matches, the mathematical payout approach can jump even higher.

However, for less important, lower-class matches as well as for the frame sports, the arrow sometimes points clearly downwards. Every now and then, the bookmaker even has difficulties to jump over the respectability line of 90 percent.

The average odds key of 93 percent has only limited significance at the sports betting provider due to the strong fluctuations. Soccer fans are excellently served, all other sports fans should probably rather look around at the competition.

There is currently no higher seal of quality in the virtual sports betting scene.

Service & Support

BetAdonis’ customer support is “good”, but still somewhat double-edged. The most positive fact is that the employees are officially available around the clock. Nevertheless, it jams now and then when contacting them, since the bookmaker does not have a telephone hotline.

The live chat on the website is available, but not always online. If the customer gets a “green phase”, the desired answers are provided within a few minutes. Alternatively, the only option is to ask questions via email. According to our BetAdonis experience, the desired returns are available within 24 hours. The information is provided professionally, helpfully and individually.

Functions & Design

The most negative BetAdonis experience we had was regarding the website. At this point, our impression was and is simply “frightening”. If you take a look at the homepage, you will very quickly get the idea that BetAdonis is not doing things by the book. If inexperienced sports bettors express themselves at this point regarding unseriousness, fraud or rip-off, this first thought cannot even be blamed on them.

According to our BetAdonis experience, the business orientation of the online bookmaker is very clearly aimed towards former CIS countries or Turkey. The German translation of the website is so amateurish that the local betting friend must surely laugh at some points, if the fact would not be so sad in the end. If BetAdonis really wants to make a breakthrough in Germany and Austria, the homepage will have to be completely relaunched.

However, the most critical fact is that the betting portal is blocked by Google Chrome very often. The security warning shows a clear risk when accessing the website. The reason for this is probably a server in Eastern Europe. According to our BetAdonis experiences, it is recommended to switch to the normal Internet Windows Explorer at this point. As a rule, there are no problems.

The design of BetAdonis is very dark. Black and gray clearly determine the picture. Only a few colorful additions provide a bit of variety. Visually, the betting portal is anything but a highlight. However, there are no complaints in terms of functionality. The bookmaker works with the usual sports betting layout and a clear listing of the disciplines on the left edge of the screen. The betting process is self-explanatory.

Bet tax

We have made positive BetAdonis experiences regarding the betting tax. More correctly, perhaps we should put it this way: We have had no experience at all. The bookmaker bears the entire five percent special burden for the German tax office out of its own pocket. The customer does not come into contact with the sports betting tax on either winning or losing tips. The popular slogan “gross = net” always applies. Hidden fees or expenses are of course also not calculated by BetAdonis.

As an example: If a sports bettor successfully brings a betting odds of 2.0 with a stake of 100 euros to the finish line, the bookmaker pays out the full 200 euros. With other bookies, which calculate the betting tax from the gross revenue, the customer would have to be satisfied with 190 euros. The only reason for the point deduction in the BetAdonis test is that the betting tax rule is not clearly and transparently communicated in the general terms and conditions.
