Call of Duty: Warzone – top 5 meta weapons

As the fifth and final – Season of Warzone is in full swing, we’ve taken a look at the weapons that are currently dominating the Battle Royale shooter’s meta.


#5 Gray

Even though the Grau has been in Warzone from the beginning, it still delivers and can keep up with STG44 and co. even after two years. Especially since its buff, the Grau has become the talk of the town again and with a pick rate of 5.2% it is the second most popular assault rifle in Warzone.

This is how you should play the Gray:

  • Magazine: 50 shot drum magazine

– No. 4 Cooper Carbine

While Cooper Carbine can’t match assault rifles like the AS44 in terms of TTK, it still offers one key advantage – recoil. While the AS44 is only something for experienced players with good recoil control, the Cooper Carbine can be easily handled by beginners, making it the most popular assault rifle in Warzone with a pick rate of 5.4%.

– No. 3 UGM-8

When the UGM-8 came into play in – Season 4, it didn’t make much of an impression on the community. In – Season 5, it has finally made it into the meta due to its low recoil, large magazine, and comparatively high mobility for an LMG. With a pick rate of 7.6%, it is the most popular LMG and can rival almost any other at range.

Since its introduction in – Season 2 Reloaded, the Armaguerra 43 has been one of the most popular SMGs in Warzone. It has almost consistently been among the top five weapons and has defined the meta for three – Season s now. Its high rate of fire and excellent damage gives it a 9.4% pick rate, making it the second most popular SMG in Warzone.

No. 1 PPSh-41

Whether it’s the Hipfire or the normal variant, there’s currently no way around the PPSh-41. Many of you will remember the time when it was almost the only weapon in Warzone that everyone had in their loadout. Now it’s back, and with a pick rate of 9.5%, it has even knocked the Armaguerra 43 off its throne. Its incredible rate of fire makes short work of any enemy at close range.
