In Call of Duty Warzone currently makes a another bug is doing the rounds. Players on Reddit report that the Shadow Outcast Shigenori skin from the Curse of the Ancients bundle has problems with the crosshairs. The user “Arbeast21” reports that the crosshairs on his weapon are completely shifted – and not centered. In a short video, he shows the result of the error: The shot bullets hit in a completely different place than they were aimed at before. A accurate aiming is therefore anything but simple.. Especially in long-distance fights, it is almost impossible to hit the opponent because players have to align the aiming device completely differently.
Crosshairs not centered
When asked if the bug might disappear when using a different weapon or sight, the user replies that even that doesn’t fix it – the crosshairs remain misaligned. Finally, other users comment that the problem comes from a faulty skin. “Change character skin. Mine had the same error,” writes one user. “Arbeast21 confirmed that the error is indeed caused by the Shadow Outcast Shigenori skin. This is not the first time the problems have appeared: Already shortly before Christmas, reports about shifted crosshairs made the rounds through the Internet. The bug seems to have been present in Warzone for quite some time.
Pay to lose: Faulty bundle costs 20 euros
The bundle that contains the mentioned skin costs 2,400 COD points (around 20 euros) – all the more annoying that the Outfit provides for errors. In the community, the operator outfit is jokingly referred to as a pay-to-lose skin. In recent days and weeks, the “pay-to-win skins” have already caused a stir: If players strip certain outfits over their character, they are henceforth almost invisible on the battlefields – and thus receive an unwanted playful advantage. Raven Software has already announced that it will remove the most serious bugs from Warzone’s game world with upcoming updates.
