Warzone: What we know so far about – Season 1 Reloaded
From the official side there is hardly any information about the upcoming mid– Season update, a detailed presentation of – Season 1 Reloaded is still completely missing. But some things are already known or speculated. Here are the most important things in a nutshell:
When does – Season 1 Reloaded start? There are no official details here yet, but for many fans and experts, one date in particular comes into question: January 11.
This is supported, for example, by a tweet from the Black Ops developer Treyarch from last Thursday, January 6. There it says, among other things: “Our mid– Season Vanguard Zombies update is coming on Tuesday”. This almost certainly means the following Tuesday, i.e. today’s 11.01. And it is extremely unlikely that only the zombie mode alone will receive a mid– Season update. So far, Warzone and the current CoD main title have always received such updates at the same time.
The general release pattern of mid– Season updates so far, as well as the – Season 1 Battle Pass, also point to the 11th. So even though there has still been no official presentation of – Season 1 Reloaded so far (as of Jan. 11, 9:30 a.m. German time), everything points to Jan. 11. Here in Germany, however, it could also be January 12 due to the time difference. So it may well be that the presentation takes place tonight and the release then tomorrow morning. In the US, it would still be January 11.
How big will the mid– Season update be? Again, there is no official information yet. But usually these patches will be much smaller than the updates at the start of a new – Season . So hopefully we will be spared a mammoth patch.

They were already mentioned in the roadmaps for the launch of the current – Season 1 of Warzone and Vanguard.
Confirmed so far are:
- New bundles in the ingame store
- New operator: Isabella
- New weapon: Welgun (SMG) for Warzone and Vanguard, available via ingame challenge or via store bundle
- minor updates and a new feature for zombies
There is still speculation about some other potential content:
- A new map for Vanguard multiplayer. Three fresh maps were supposed to come into the game in the course of – Season 1, but so far there have only been two
- Weapon tuning for Vanguard and Warzone. For Vanguard there was no real tuning pass yet, for Warzone some weapons like the double barrel shotgun are simply too strong.
- Numerous bug fixes for Vanguard and Warzone (currently there are numerous annoying bugs like an invisible operator skin)
Warzone: Most popular weapons until mid– Season update
