This year’s Call of Duty spin-off is currently in development at Infinity Ward and is supposed to be the sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare, that much is known. However, the development team hasn’t revealed much more about the game yet, we just know that it’s supposed to be the most ambitious project of the series.
Soon, however, this could change, because Infinity Ward has now adapted their Twitter page and thus possibly teases an imminent Reveal.
CoD hides Ghost on the Twitter page
The official Twitter page from developer Infinity Ward looks rather unspectacular at first glance, after the team replaced their profile picture and header with what appears to be a black image.
Appearances are deceiving: But if you brighten up the header image, you can see that there is actually a picture hidden in it. Hidden behind a staircase, you can see a character that is all too familiar to many CoD fans: We’re talking about Ghost, who made his first appearance in the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from 2009. The developer’s Instagram page has also been updated and now no longer contains any posts. (via CharlieIntel)

The assumption is that Ghost will also play an important role in the reboot, which is rumored to revolve around the fight against Colombian drug cartels and will confront us with brutal realism. Also, some of the most popular multiplayer maps are rumored to return.
MW2 reveal coming soon?
So far there is no info from the CoD makers about when a reveal is supposed to come. Leaker RalphsValve had at least stated that there should be new info on April 30, even if a big reveal was nevertheless not planned until May, so we’ll have to keep waiting.
What do you think of the Ghost teaser?
