And it will once again feature a classic single-player campaign. Publisher Activision has now officially confirmed this.

Fans will be happy:Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 from 2018 dispensed with a solo campaign for the first time in order to focus entirely on multiplayer and the battle royale mode Blackout instead. Although the title did well with critics, many fans regretted the abandonment of the classic single-player experience.

As mentioned earlier, we don’t know yet what kind of Call of Duty game Infinity Ward is churning out.

Ghosts 2? A few weeks ago, a rumor circulated that this year’s title could be Call of Duty: Ghosts 2.

However, some time after the rumor surfaced, Kotaku editor and industry insider Jason Schreier spoke out on Resetera and denied the rumor. Of course, his statement is not necessarily set in stone, but Infinity Ward could still be working on a sequel to Ghosts. After all, the original is the fourth best-selling installment of the series.
