Today, December 16, at 10 a.m., you can look forward to the first part of the Christmas event, where you can expect gifts before Christmas Eve. We’ll show you the Christmas event in detail and everything you need to know about bonuses, spawns, shinys, quests and raid bosses. Merry Christmas!

First reported Dec. 10, 2021: San Francisco, California – It’s very Christmastime in Pokémon GO. With the real-life holidays upon us, the Christmas event kicks off, with fans once again enjoying bonuses, quests and gifts. And new Pokémon are making their debut – Arktip and Arktilas will be available for the first time in Pokémon GO. There will also be new Shiny Pokémon! We present you all spawns, bonuses and research tasks at the Pokémon GO Holidays 2021.

Pokémon GO: Christmas event with Arktip – launch and bonuses at the holidays.

When does the event start? During the – Season of origin in Pokémon GO will take place the holidays 2021. At Christmas, there is again a lot for the trainers:inside to get. The Christmas event is divided into two parts and starts already next week, on December 16, 2021 at 10 am (local time). Here is the schedule for the new event:

• Part 1: December 16 (10am) to December 23, 2021
• Part 2: December 23 to December 31, 2021 (8 p.m. local time)

These are the bonuses: Throughout the period it Christmas events in Pokémon GO apply bonuses that will accompany you through the most festive time of the year. Niantic puts a lot of emphasis on friendship and rewards you with more gifts for the Christmas event:

• Open 45 gifts per day and keep up to 40 gifts in your pouch.
• Team GO Rocket bullies use ice and water Pokémon more often
• WP Boost for Mega Rexblisar
• Daily hatchery machine when turning the first PokéStop (part 2 only).

For the Christmas event, friendship is writ large. With significantly more gifts than usual, you can make your friends in Pokémon GO a joy and dust off neat items if you let them give you presents. Opening gifts is also a great way to level up, so you should definitely take advantage of this bonus.

Pokémon GO: New feature for the Christmas event – capture moments with the postcard book

What is the postcard book? For the Christmas event, Niantic has come up with a new feature. With the Postcard Book, you can capture your best gifts from friends. Attached to every gift you receive Pokémon GO is a postcard that you can pin in your postcard book with the Christmas event. Niantic has presented the feature in detail on the Pokémon GO blog.

What’s the point? Strictly speaking, you don’t get any benefit from the postcard book. It’s just that you can capture beautiful moments and perhaps special places. If one of your friends finds a particularly nice PokéStop, they can send you a gift with the location and you can always admire it in your Postcard Book. PokéStops can now be enhanced with scans, we’ll show you how.

Pokémon GO: Christmas event with Arktip – All costume Pokémon and new Shinys

Costume Pokémon: For the Christmas event, many Pokémon have dressed up again and appear in festive costumes. We have marked all Pokémon that can appear as Shiny with a star. These monsters are dressed up for the Christmas – Season :

New Shinys: You can meet new Shinys again at the Christmas event! You may have noticed, but Christmas Seemops and Christmas Glaziola are available with their Shiny forms for the first time. While Glaziola was already available as a Shiny in its normal variant, the dressed-up Pokémon can now be found in a different color. You can also find Galar Lampion as Shiny in Eggs, Field Research Tasks, and Level 1 Raids.

Pokémon GO: Christmas Event with Arktip – All Spawns, Eggs and Raids

You can find these Pokémon in the wild: Many of the costumed Pokémon appear in the wild and are also accompanied by many Ice Pokémon, which should make the Christmas event a true celebration. Note that some monsters can only be found during the first or second part of the event. These are all spawns:

Pokémon GO: Christmas event announced – Galar Pantimos at collector challenge

Mini-Event Winter Wonderland: During the Christmas event in Pokémon GO, a mini-event will also start. Winter Wonderland features a new collection challenge and an extra bonus. The bonus is only available from December 25 (10 a.m. local time) to December 26 (8 p.m. local time). During this time, you can exchange Pokémon with other trainers over a distance of 40km.

This is the collection challenge: Also on December 25, a collection challenge will start that you can complete until December 31. For completing it, you will get an encounter with Galar Pantimos. To complete the challenge at the Christmas event, all you need to do is trade the following Pokémon:

• Squeak
• Squeak
• Seemops (costume optional)
• Shnebedeck
• Gelatini
• Petznief (costume optional)

You can easily get the Pokémon for the Gathering Challenge during the event, so you shouldn’t have any problems. There are also other field research tasks in addition to the Gathering Challenge. Pokémon GO: Christmas Event with Arktip – New Shop and Avatar Items

New costumes: Pokémon aren’t the only ones who get to dress up for the Christmas event. You can also get your avatar some festive clothing by checking out the store starting Wednesday, December 15 at 10pm. There will be festive hats, jackets, and shorts there that will make you look like a Christmas tree. The items will also remain available for the entire duration of the event.

Additional content: When turning PokéStops and opening gifts, you will receive Christmas stickers. You can also buy them in the store. There, you’ll also find festive boxes to add to your arsenal of items. These are the contents of the boxes:

• Special Box (480 PokéCoins): 50 Pokéballs, 2 Premium Battle Passes, 2 Super Brooders, 3 Star Pieces.
• Hyperbox (1,480 PokéCoins): 25 Hyperballs, 18 Raid Passes, 5 Super Brooders, 5 Smoke.
• Adventure Box (1,480 PokéCoins): 18 Super Brooders, 2 Brooders, 2 times Smoke, 4 Star Pieces.
