How to find Arlo
In order for you to fight Arlo, you will first need a complete Rocket Radar. This consists of the 6 mysterious parts you get when fighting each Rocket bully. Once you have collected all 6 pieces, then you can assemble and activate the radar. It will help you find Arlo.
Once you have activated it, the Rocket Radar will be displayed on the right side of the game. You can recognize it by the red R. If you click on the radar, a map will open. On it you can see your surroundings and at which stops a Rocket boss is located. These are also marked with a red R.
If you don’t have a Rocket boss near you at the moment, you can also wait for a balloon. The bosses spawn up to 4 times a day in a black balloon, similar to the Team GO Rocket bullies. The prerequisite for this is that you have activated your Rocket radar.
Can you find Arlo specifically? No, a targeted search for Arlo is unfortunately not possible. The radar only shows you at which stops a Rocket boss is located, but not which boss it is.
But if you have found Arlo, he will stay at this stop for the whole day. Also with the balloons it is a coincidence which boss you get.
Is the fight against Arlo worth it?
This is why you should fight Arlo: Periodically in Pokémon GO, you will receive certain special research that will allow you to face the big Team GO Rocket boss, Giovanni. To complete the task, you must have faced Arlo, Sierra, and Cliff respectively and defeated these three Rocket bosses.
As a reward, you will receive a black super Rocket radar that you can use to track Giovanni. If you don’t have a corresponding task at the moment, it’s still worth going up against Arlo. You can do this with a complete Rocket Radar, which you can assemble from the mysterious parts of the bullies.
With this, you can each take on one of the three Rocket bosses, Arlo, Sierra, and Cliff, and look forward to cool rewards. Giovanni, however, cannot be tracked down with this radar.
These are the rewards after a fight against Arlo
Which Crypto Pokémon does Arlo: The current Pokémon is Crypto-Owei. You will receive this Pokémon in your reward after defeating Arlo, and you will have the opportunity to catch it. With a little luck, you will even meet an iridescent specimen.
Other rewards: However, the encounter with Crypto-Owei does not remain the only reward after a fight with Arlo. You will receive various items, just like in other Rocket fights. Also, before the fight, make sure you have a free space in your egg storage, because you can enjoy a 12-km egg in the reward for the Rocket bosses.
You can obtain these eggs exclusively through Arlo, Sierra, Cliff and Giovanni. Also, they often contain interesting and rare monsters. For this reason, they are worth hatching. We have summarized which monsters can currently be found in the 12-km eggs for you here.
