After the two failed attempts last weekend, Babos Gaming brings home the first big national title after 6 years: they win the first Series format tournament of the SEL in CS:GO.
The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Spring Series kicked off in March. The competition was divided into three phases: The Qualifier (where all participating teams are divided into three divisions), the Competition Stage (in three weeks up to five matches are played within the divisions) and then finally the Playoffs including the Grand Final.
Eight teams qualified for the highest division, the CS:GO Elite Division. The standings after the Competition Stage were as follows:
But unfortunately the roster of Lausanne Esports could not participate in the playoffs. One player of the team had to sit out due to health reasons. So the slot was given to the 5th place team, mYinsanity.
